Agree - small - nice cycle path around the old city - will entertain you for an hour, which was my reason for doing it - you'd need to be going further afield to warrant a day rental.

There is a rental place underneath the station - will do by the hour or all day. Standard Dutch bike type things. Good value. Staff v. nice. Rented bikes for me and kids there this half term.

Yes, it was a frontal impact, someone rode into me head on. The rest of the bike seems OK, but as you say there may well be stuff I haven't seen.

I was thinking about it but I'm not sure it makes economic sense - might see if I can find someone to give me a quote once my shoulder has stopped hurting.

I also use decos - have had 3 for 3 years with no issue. Added some more to get to the end of the garden - again had for a year with no issues. Easy to set up. Just work. Some of the usage restriction / parental controls are a bit sketchy but I use other stuff for that anyway.

Very unlikely. There are no widely adopted standards for interoperability between mesh products. You might be able to cable them as access points, but DHCP etc probably wouldn't work properly and you'd probably have to spend a lot of time messing about.

Is that community fibre btw? I have an unused linksys unit from them for exactly that reason.
