sorry to bust that thread, but in some way i am not allowed to post a own thread, perhaps a mod can do that for me. so here is my question, does anyone have a chart on Nm for BB cranksets in general ? or even a list of common Nm for diffrent thread sizes.

it was used to varnish wood furniture back in the old days, also it was used in oil painting and for gold leave varnishing. it is pretty hard to get a even surface, yu need to polish it on with a leather piece, stick a wool chunk in the leather so the liqid will stay longer in the leather. shellac drys out to a hard surface, it isnt alcohol resistand. i ´d prefer a linseed oil for wooden floors or a wax for your bar tape.
