the hoods looking really long and the saddle to bar-drop is quite huge for cx. but it looks fast and stealthy! after a couple of crashes i would never ride a carbon frame for cx.
Built for one purpose ... Speed !! Yes I'm flexible for a vet ;)
No crashing planned but chinese carbon cheap to replace :)

All done ... Took bit longer for mate to do decals/lacquer ..

Thanks TM,
@plus one, yes slackedy slack cx style, it feels like a train.
This bike is a whole of contrasts, modern steel with fat head tube and thin seatpost, carbon and steel, it was all discussed and so intended!
If I wanted something conventional I'd have bought a Giant and saved a ton of money.
Cool :) lovely looking rig to my eyes anyway !! I'm all for bucking convention ;)

if the hood design was shorter and steeper would get those.
I was aware of the hood length before purchase but I really wanted full hydraulic's(ss only) and these are the only choice on the market(I'm sure) so happy to take the plunge..
Must say they felt bit funny at first but 10mins in I forgot all about it (only 10mm)
I flit between 9 speed and 11 speed hoods across few bikes and i can't say I notice it ...
She's now stripped again and off for decals/lacquer :)

My requirements of Matt ud finish disc only with PF30 or BB30 led me to this
http://www.speedercycling.com/Carbon-Bicycle-Disc-Cyclocross-Frame-FF-R014-_p32.html
Easy to deal with :)
An American company(Asylum cycles)are using same frame with a Columbus fork and PF30 BB

Those Kalloy stems with the angled bolts are really very, very good for the cash.
/
^that one... why not flip it for some rise?
They're lighter....obviously
that looks light! Have you weighted it? Why the transparent spacers?
16.4lbs on my luggage scales(prob way out) :)
Yes nice light stems for little cash :)
Clear spacers for a change ;)
Love a flat stem :)

Few tweaks and she's done ..

Yes it is indeed a fugly junction .. Having a 120mm head tube doesn't help as most medium sized cx frames from everyone else are 140-150mm or so ?
Guess the chinese like short head tube :)
