Yes that's plan b .. Just that the 23's come in bit heavier bit guess the larger contact patch is worth the extra grams :)

Looks wise I think flite looks better on layback post but I guess ultimately it's down to what fits pilot best :)

Looking at my build its obvious I don't do bike/parts etiquette ;)

Must say though due to swoopy seat tube an inline post may be the way to go .

Here it is ... Not convinced yet by the carbon clinchers they look good but kinda defeat the nice buzz of steel .. I have a pair of nice alloy wheels (new but look retro) to try aswell

From what I've read excell tubing was the French answer to Reynolds 753 it's 1750g frame weight which is respectable if not super light ..

I wasn't intending to build another bike(as you do) but I've always fancied throwing modern type parts on an older frame ..

When this came up with 130mm back end I knew it was the one !

Plan is Dura Ace 7800 and carbon clinchers .. May look gaudy may look cool who knows :)
