Hello,
We're raising money to change bulbs down at the Gym DIY. Most of them have gone out. We've told the council but they aren't doing anything about it.
The space is used by loads of different people especially during the winter as it's dry and lit(if the bulbs work.)
The money will be put towards new bulbs, renting ladders and transport. Any leftover will go to maintaining the space, new brooms etc and even new building materials.
Go fund me link is here
Thanks so much

Hello.
We've got a Pashley Postie Bike here. Bought off here last year which has been tiding me over while I did some work on my other cargo bike.
I've been pleasantly surprised with the carrying capabilities of this thing. I've been using it to carry tools around and had some heavy loads in it. Even a set of folding ladders a couple times and it handled it all well. So much so I haven't been in a rush to get my other bike sorted.
I'm 6ft and it's a little on the small side but I've regularly cycled 45 minute journeys without discomfort. I changed the stem to a adjustable one to help my height. If you were intent on keeping it a longer seat post would help a lot.
I think the wheels are comparatively new to the frame and the tyres are pretty new. Gears all work well and I have just regreased the rear hub as the bearing cage had broken and was making a noise but that's now sorted. I'll clean the chain before selling.
This is great for local journeys and popping to the shops. It has the great advantage over most other cargo bikes in that you don't need to worry about it being knicked.
I live in Bethnal green and can meet anywhere around here.

Hello,
Here's a bike hanger I made a few years ago. It's currently only suitable for a bike with a 1" top tube but could be made to fit other bikes with some sawing.
Varnished birch ply with felt in the holder bit. Dims 30w x 25h x 30d. From memory it was designed to have the bike hug the wall quite close.
It's free but you could make a forum donation.
Currently it can be picked up mile end or bethnal green or I could meet you lea bridge road after work next week. I could help you fit for a bag of coffee.
Cheers Ben
