I would try any big sports store in the city. I'm not sure about stores on the east coast, one can probably google "sports store" with the zip code she's in and find them. Go for Franklin Super High Density (red) or High Density (orange) (i was wrong in another post, the colors do matter).

ellen was only able to bring one ball from the states. but we can order the right balls from that uk site. 12 balls for 51gbp = 4.25 per ball. i'll order a dozen if i can get people to pay for nine (and i'll buy 3). let me know and i'll order now.

Does anyone have a back polo wheel with a fixie hub they want to sell before the tourney? i'm riding my commuter 48/14 and it's not working. but i'd like to be able to swap out wheels.

man, i've played timed games in tourneys before and they fucking suck. i understand the reason, but if there is anyway we can play the 1/4s without timed games, we should try to.

I don't think its the colors that matter as much as the density. We want high density balls. It seems you can order them from the UK:

It's still expensive with processing and postal charges, but less so than getting the from the states, and if we can order a bunch then that postal charges can be spread out.

Also, I am trying to get my girl to bring a dozen when she comes here in two days. But so far she has only found one in stores. I'll let you know of we get more.

Do the hardware stores here have ABS pipe? It's like PVC, but it's black and doesn't break or shatter as easily. Comes in 1.5" and 2". In the US it's like $1 per foot. Super cheap and works great for mallet heads.

hey yo. i just moved here from Los Angeles. I need a team. I bring mad skills. I set up the scene in LA and played there for a year, and before that I played for two years in Madison, WI. I'll be living in N15 for six weeks until I find a permanent place.

I also need a team for the BFF tourney.

I'm not picky -- just hoping to find two people in need of a third.
