Well, finished finished, but I would like a white OG flite saddle and a look full carbon fork when funds allow.
I'm genuinely surprised by how light it feels, all my other bikes are robustly built steel jobs. Looking forward to caning it up some hills.
Look forward to seeing yours noiser, did you resolve the seat tube problem?

I'd love to, but it's just going on the 'nice to have' list as I have an alloy steerer fork for it.
Ordered everything I need to complete the build today. I'm off work with a knackered back so need a bit of elation / guilt conflict to keep my moods swinging. Having it delivered to work, this will make my back heal faster.

Seat tube opening measures 26mm front to back, 25mm side to side. Seatpost 24.9.
I have this in my watch list. If someone could take it out of temptation's reach for me you would be doing me a favour.

I need to put my order in for that bolt too, always drag my feet with those less exciting elements of a build. I delayed the completion of my fixed-wheel build because I couldnt bring myself to spend £50 on missing parts for my Goldtec hubs.
Which brings me on to the wheels I've bought; Shimano RS80 C24s. My original plan was to buy some 35mm deep chinese tubulars, but with peace of mind being my peronal key to inner happiness I decided I wouldnt be able to live with a nagging doubt about their roadworthiness, and perhaps more directly, the requirement to carry a spare tyre or can of sealant. The other alternative was handbuilt Archetypes x Novatecs, I have a heavier build of these rims on my winter bike and love the low tyre pressures and the handling, but at less than £300 the Shimanos seem to offer irresistible bang per buck.
Now need to figure out the cockpit, quite fancy PRO, seeing as everything is now Shimano, but I dont think they do a 17* stem which is what I have in mind. Likely to go for 3T, I like the look of the Ergonova bar. I'll have to put the mock-up together again to figure out exact cockpit dimensions.
Noiser, I'll still take some measurements around the seat tube, should get a chance tomorrow.

The proprietary seat clamp thing I'm not sure about.
I have this bit:
I guess this is an expanding wedge like a quill stem and it's missing the other half.
I've found this for sale but the fitting list does not include the 241. Can anyone shed any light on this?

I took it home around christmas and decided to get on with it. Getting on with it has so far yielded the purchase of a seatpost, not that sourcing a 25mm seat post was the work of a moment. It took a few moments. I also had the bb shell chased and faced, and a headset fitted which involved bodging some chemical metal into the head tube as it had ovalised.
I mocked it up today as it looked a bit big.
It's not too big, it's just right.
Tomorrow a friend brings the Ultegra 10sp group round, then I need wheels and cockpit.

Can anyone recommend me a MTB skills course? I'm able to travel so anywhere south / midlands is good.
Need something to get me over my taget fixation death grip rigid torso syndrome when approaching anything which might remove my tyres from the ground or which is more than about 15% downhill gradient.
HTFU etc.

Got most stuff in the brewer st store, was in there today, first visit. I'm no rapha fanboy but their hard shell is meant to be the best so went to have a look. Got served by a charming woman who joined in a conversation with her colleagues about why raw carbon fibre sheet should be stored in the fridge. Proper bike dorks. I bought the jacket.

Such stiffness
So power transfer
Wow.

Carbon frames got more efficient in the last couple of decades didn't they?
My photography didn't :(
