BUMP...Had seatpost sorted, confirmed meeting place, seller sells it to someone else.

So i need of a seatpost (preferably around 10 - 15 quid or ideally under)

And a saddle, cheap black job for around a fiver (again ideally under!!)

Would really be a great help if i could meet the seller today.......really want to get my build done..

i try never to leave my bike unattended, no matter how well locked up, anywhere in the boroughs of hackney or tower hamlets.

Wheels are alright, i never had any serious dramas with them..

Id get some new tyres....or at least a decent rear, due to the low quality of roads usually found in London and the UK

at least it stops your seatpost from getting nicked!

Went into BLB on Wednesday with the intention to buy some black Goldtec hubs for my partners ride. But they told me that they're has been some serious issues with them such as the flanges snapping?

Has anyone had any experience of this?

Not really. I thought mine was light but compared to most other bikes it's not. It's still much lighter than a Charge Plug though.

Buy one, get a 105 brake, cross-top lever, 18T cog and a new set of tyres and inner tubes. You'll be golden.

i didn't say it was light in comparison with every other bike thats ever been produced.

There is no denying though that it is light for what it is.

Just wondering if anyone has a bit of spare time to come and fit a threaded headset for me and a shimano Bottom bracket.

Not sure if anything needs reaming of facing, as the frame is brand new??

Would take it to my LBS but i would like to learn how to do it myself for future.

This band are good and do weddings! good stuff to get people dancing! they do covers mainly but have a few originals!
