I can't remember what the injuries were but I think it was something like saddle sores rather than anything that would require medical attention. (maybe "injuries" is overselling it!)

I heard someone from ineos say on a podcast recently that riders started getting injuries and they worked out it was because the new Dura ace had longer hoods.

i heard her interviewing (i think) chris philp yesterday as well and she is very calm and polite but is very thorough and gets her questions answered.
it's a much better approach than the openly confrontational, trying to get a headline approach that John Humphreys had. i haven't listened to the show much recently so i don't really know the other interviewers any more.

the velcro straps and the ratchets work although there's a small exposed piece of wire on one of the ratchets (the end of a spring maybe?) that you need to be careful not to catch your finger on.

It must be easier to sign a couple of stronger support riders to Alpecin than for him to go to a new team. They signed Soren Kragh Andersen but I don't think he did particularly well. Jasper Philipsen did well though.
