I did that descent after the race two years ago .... had a front tyre puncture going round one hairpin ... quite hair raising ..... rode the rest of the race course and stopped at a bike shop to buy another tube ... told the owner “puncture coming off the Sormano “ ... and he did lots of Italian eye rolling ,dramatic “Porca Misera “ gestures ... and gave me a free tube .... rode back to Lecco for beer , crisps and gelato - top day out .... and Pinot won ...

Ha , yes - correct ... I had it a million years ago - gave it to a friend who rides it all the time ...I service it occasionally and keep it going ... but it’s always an awkward bastard .... although I really enjoyed riding it around to block a few times on test drive .... rolls really well - bit to garish for me though
Did see an old boy riding the racer version - same colour scheme - on Sunday ... -

I m currently trying to set up a Shimano BR-M453 rear can ride brake .... which is situated under the chain stays for some unknown reason - just to make it a bastard to work on .. ? - and I cannot get the arms to stay sprung out .... there’s a 6mm Allen key with which to turn them but only a plastic cap which doesn’t seem to hold them ( away from the wheel under tension ) .... I am utterly flummoxed having not really paid any attention when dismantling them to give the bike a serious clean and service .....
Has anyone had experience of these brakes and there set up .... ?
Any ideas or knowledge most welcome .... two days in and numerous takings apart and I’m fed up ..... is it something dead simple I’m missing ... ? -

Possibly controversial idea .... if lock down is loosened up a little bit - play the “Hundred” using counties and county players only ,not franchises .... players get a run out ( use it to get fitness up ) , Internationals don’t need to jet in ..... no crowds - live T.V. only .... ( Counties get all the TV revenue as compensation for the humiliation ) people get to see cricket , maybe even some of the new crowd the ‘kin ECB are chasing.... tournament over by the time we are all allowed out ..... sports events are back on .... four day game gets to play out a beautiful Indian summer .... the new cricket fans get to see real cricket .... grounds full , beer flowing etc etc .... “ Hundred “ forgotten about- never to be seen again ....
