Anyone got experience with not-crazy-money noise cancelling headphones? This has come up earlier in the thread, but didn't get much of a response.

I'm looking at the Audio Technica ATH ANC1's - anyone used them? Or does the hive mind have other suggestions?

I've just gotten a gloworm x1 for the road, it's really good. You can get spares, including different sized battery packs with power indicators and such.

Their x2 is probably better for mtb as it's got moar power, but I've not used it.

How much rim wear is too much? This much?

After all I'm going to go with a gloworm x1 . CNCing doesn't look as nice as the Hopes, but loads of light for the bucks, and they're locally designed. You can change the lens as well, I'm hoping it means something without too much spread to prevent blinding other folks on the road.

Anyone on here recommend a light for night road riding? Rides include country descents with no street lights.

Been looking at the Hope R1, or the Hope R4. The replaceable and rechargeable battery is appealing on those ones.

Just moved to a really hilly city, and looking to get my girlfriend's bike running 1x10 or 1x11. Anyone know a cheap 10 or 11 speed shifter that would work? Closest I can find is DA bar end, which seems a bit excessive, and only seems to come as a pair
