Hmmm - ok - i thought there was only 22.2 (bmx) and 25.4 (mtb) shows what I know! Im assuming a set of 25.4's will fit...

anyone know what the clamp size is on a fuji track 08 standard stem? would like to stick some risers on for a couple of weeks and don't know if I need to order the oversized mtb bars or the bmx size.

mdizzle - yeah I did last night, I'm very new to bothering to train (cos I'm getting older and it doesn't come natural anymore) and I didn't fully understand the regimes. At the moment I've worked up my own basic interval 30 min sessions. I'm running a 48/18 gearing fixed only, so a lot of the training regimes online don't really apply.

I'm sticking to regionals this year, breaking myself back in gently - 33-39 cruiser class. Mostly for fun, thinking of trying a couple of 4X's as well. I noticed in a couple of the trakie threads that people are now using rollers to warm up trackside for BMX as well.

fits my fuji track with no problems. didn't pay that price for it though! pretty sure that the elites will fir most fixed gear hubs ive seen, there's enough room for some big nuts ;)

LOL GA2G - the reason im getting a trainer is because i live in a rurla place, and riding after dark for pleasure leaves you a touch vulnerable ;)

did try a search, and apart from classifieds, couldn't fine out much.

is it worth paying more for one with resistance adjustment on bars? dont want to spend more than £100, unless there's a really good reason. will be running on a 700cc fixed wheel, but oddly to increase fitness for bmx racing.

anyone know where I can find replacement cleat bolts for time cleats - but longer than the standard supplied ones?

I'm sure there must be somewhere online i can pick up standard countersunk allen key bolts - anyone know the thread size?

I ordered some Spec shoes last week which were out of stock in the the London stores I went to, but in stock on the website. Got an email at the weekend to tell me they had to be retrieved from a store so would be late on delivery, then got an email today to tell me they are out of stock. Called them, the guy (who was very nice - not his fault etc etc) said they were meant to be coming from the spitalfields store - the first place i went into to look before ordering - where the guy in the shop told me to order them online as they were in stock.

thanks for the life coaching :) i have 4 children and my wife is now a full time student, so by the time the disposable bit of my income reaches me - i need a whole lot of justification to buy a 150 pair of riding shoes, seeing as i dont make a living out of riding. i just wanted to know what was a good buy at the cheaper end of the market, so i think the specialised ones are going to get bought.

whats weird about the sizing?

how much wider are the sidi 'mega' range? i have wide feet, but never had the need to buy special wide shoes but then i pretty much live in skate shoes. just that the sidicafe have some ok shoes in a size 42 mega!

id go for some used dominators - if anyone's got some :)

i have obviously looked through wiggle and crc but there's so many, dont really know how to narrow it down except that i like the sidi dominators because they look pretty plain.

just got some time aliums (2009 ones are all matt black - which is nice) id like domintors but they are bit out of my price range, can anyone recommend a cheaper alt. have about £60 to spend.
