If you actually want to go to Brighton, which I'm guessing people do, the DD route's not the best. It also missed out a couple of nice stretches which the traditional route takes in, including that village with the pond in the middle of it.
I can't do this now if it's Saturday but I wrote out Audax style directions for the classic route and have gpx if anyone wants it.

Probably up for this too depending on hangover.
There's the Ditchling Devil route for people that like the odd hill.

I'm liking their new track 'Wasting My Young Years'.
London Grammar - Wasting My Young Years (Official Video) - YouTube
There are also some remixes getting posted,
Both the video and a nice making of doc are here on the same page:

I was a bit underwhelmed when they played Islington the other week. Metal and Dust was the only song they managed to instill with any real enthusiasm. To be fair, they looked new to the whole business and nervous which can be worked on.

Signed up for this a couple of weeks ago. First time I've registered/paid online and in doing so I forgot to send the SAEs for the brevet card. It's not entirely clear but presumably you're still supposed to do this... Anyone in the know?
Anyway, I'll be there either way on a white Genesis Croix de Fer with a Lampre cap so say hi if you're passing.

Got high hopes for London Grammar:

It's from a very worthy but definitely not lighthearted source.
