I have a brand new and unused Gebhardt 41 Tooth 144 BCD chainring (silver), in the original packaging.

I've decided to go for a 42 tooth instead, so I'd like to sell the 41 tooth. They sell for £26.50 at Sonic Cycles; I'd like to get £22 OBO.

Ah, great. That's just what I needed. I'll probably still measure, as the road cranks I was using w/ a 115 BB and chainring in the outside position were too narrow for the Surly hub. But it's good to know that theoretically I should be able to use a 107mm BB.

Hi Everyone,

I am working on getting my town bike rebuilt after a respray. As I was getting it resprayed (complete w/ original 80s Bontrager decals) I decided to get some shiny new cranks and a new bottom bracket.

Can anyone advise on the best BB spindle length for the following combination:

Cranks: Stronglight Track 2000 (1/8" chainring)
Rear Hub: Surly 130mm
Sprocket: Dura Ace 1/8"

If you're running a similar setup, your advice would be great.

May be a bit more than what you're looking to pay, but Aspire Velotech have Chris King 2-nut threaded headsets with free international shipping. They're expensive headsets, but they'll often outlast your bike.

I have on offer a new Stronglight 7075 T6 52T 144 BCD 1/8" chainring in black. It has never been used. Looking for £20 or best offer.

I got it along with a chainset for my town bike, and my track bike cranks are 135 BCD, so I don't have a use for it. Would make a good derny or fixed time trial chainring.

Not exactly what you're looking for, as it is annoyingly old Cinelli (26.4), but I have a brand new (NOS) 100mm black stem with a really novel bar clamp bolt. The bar clamp, instead of using a standard pinch bolt has no gap; the bolt is hidden and looks really clean. I have a set of Cinelli bars (44cm) that could go along with the stem. Or you could shim it to 26.0 or 25.4.

A question for you Stronglight users: Does anyone run a Stronglight Track 2000 with a 130mm-spaced hub ? I'm trying to figure out what bottom bracket width I'll need in getting the old Bontrager built up with this crankset (and Dura Ace 1/8" sprocket).
