people doing it fixed then? iv done 60 miles fixed and it was no problem but the route was very flat, ah well see how it goes i guess and hope its a nice dry day

I changed my tyres the other day due to the weather getting bad and that my back one was really worn, after considering armadillos or gatorskins and some advice from an ex messenger in the bike shop I went for schwalbe stelvios with a tire liner, the guy said he used that setup and hadn't a puncture in a year and since the schwalbes were half the price it sounded like a good idea,

the tyres themselves are ace and I cant fault them the only problem is the tyre liners. Has anyone had any experience with them because I have had 2 flats in 2 days due to the liners cutting into the tube, I cut them correctly and used insulation tape on the joins as instructed and kept them at about 110psi :/

hi there im desperatly after some 1 inch threaded forks with a stearer of 7 and a half inches or slightly less would probly do it id love some straight ones like colnago but anyone who has any fitting these specs please let me know, many thanks

for the side bolt... people do this in various ways...i found with my new mallet i've drilled the hole a lot higher than half way. Its just a holding bolt after all and you dont want it in the way of the ball.

yeh id noticed that, will drill it higher up just a thin bolt, nice one

reckon that will be strong enough... i think one good wack and you might loose your head.

yeh after looking at those guides posted by DT i think il stick a bolt through the side as well, cheers guys

Sounds like you don't need a new brake, just a little more finger control... Don't worry, it'll come with experience... ;]

hey come on not again! by emergency stop i mean turning round to check out a student girl then turning back to see a bollard thing to stop cars doing left turns and slamming on the break, she stopped to see if i was ok though so i sort of won :/

ive got a Campagnolo Veloce Skeleton and i managed to send myself over the bars in an emergency stop once so defo powerful enough, i bought a pair and sold the back one
