Seems good once they finally sorted my install (2 years of waiting…)

Tbf it was really their contractors (avonline ) who were the cause of the delay - once they changed to new contractors the install was sorted in a few days.
The delay was down to them not being able to clear the conduit that the fibre runs down to the cabinets and then trying and failing to get approval to dig up the road to find it and fix it.

The service from gigaclear seems reliable and I get good speeds when I have bothered to check

Yeah - I was until about 6months ago when they said they weren’t supplying my area anymore and moved me to a different supplier (home broadband I think) - at the same time my gigaclear install finally got sorted so I switched to them instead

Performance etc was fine when I was with them though - no complaints

Definitely - although it’s always either busy with tourists or sheep/goats :p

Mind now turns to improvements - thinking a CarPlay module for the pcm3 and maybe replace the centre exhaust with crossover pipes as even with PSE on its still pretty quiet

All fixed and now home - fingers crossed for no more troubles for a little while at least

No idea what temp it is but it is fairly hot rather than warm

Ramp test based ftp tests are designed to work with seated efforts only - standing skews them.

For training efforts, do what you want though.
I normally only stand for <30s efforts or perhaps for a few pedal strokes on long 10min+ efforts

Yeah, got it back in July - the high pressure fuel pump died a few weeks ago and also sprang a coolant leak from the crossover pipes….

Doesn’t sound right - my gen4 legacy used to handle very well - much better than the 5 series that I replaced it with

I have used several 12 speed chains on 11 speed cassettes and chainrings - both double and narrow wide without any problems

They have all been shimano chains some deore and some 105

My understanding is that the inner width remains the same but the plate width is thinner, so should sit on 11 speed teeth fine

Not after full boxes but have 2 sets off wheels to build so need 96 spokes total in a couple of different lengths…

Took the 997 out - got a mile down the road and looks like the high pressure fuel pump is gone - bring it back home in limp mode and looks like the front coolant pipes are leaking too!!! (The over engine ones have been replaced but not the front it would seem….)

M340i also did its first long distance trip - Somerset to Grenoble

At a steady 120kph ish it would do 40mpg on super unleaded - about 35/36 on 95ron
That was with 4 bikes on the towbar rack, 2 adults and 2 kids plus camping gear etc

The towbar being enabled deactivated the coasting feature - so would be quite a bit higher without the bikes/rack
