I bought the Purple go mix drink, for the action 100 ride and me and my mates created 3 litres of it with apple juice. So something already packed with sugar, salts mixed with cheapy value apple juice from Tesco.

We managed to create I believe probably the most calorific drink. My friend called it "DEATH JUICE", and refused to drink the mix on the ride, he ended being far more knackered than us.

Are OTPs approaching custom standards?

Considering 50% of all the work I have done mechanically has been a bodge for one reason or another... I Hope they are not approaching my custom build standards ;-).

But seriously, I have to agree with philjay, I don't really know what is wrong with a langster/bowery/fillmore if it gets you from A to B. Some of the OTP that are around about £800+, are bloody nice looking bikes, especially the blackjack.

One thing that was positive from building myself however was that I know how to put a bike together, granted it probably not the best build ever, but it works and I will do it better next time.

have to agree, the first time I rode a new road bike (used to only ride a late 70s peugeot), it was soo much quicker than my mountain bike and my old racer, I was terrified. Wouldn't want to ride a TT bike for a first go.
