exactly. fine noble beers to be enjoyed primarily for their flavour.
the fact they have a high alcohol content is to enhance the flavour not to get shitfaced, you can drink meths for that.Fair point about Duvel but I was just advertising it, probably the only beer I have ever drank that has got better each time.
But Warka Strong at 99p from the local ISBIR, being 7.0% and got me throughly shit faced after 4 cans fulfils the tramp juice, the fact that it actually tastes alright is just an added bonus.

I like this, only 7.0% so not proper tramps piss, but still fucking good stuff.

Love Duvel, fucking great taste. Only Tesco seem to stock it around here though.

The shop's I go to are DHC in Woolston (friendly bloke in there, Dave I think) and Rock and Road nr. Northern Bridge.G A cycles that is it, owner is complete nob-jockey.
I never ventured into woolston :(.

Apart from me and Pifko, is there any other members of LFGSS that are living in Poole, Bournemouth or surrounding areas?
Was thinking of organising a social ride for anyone don't care who, roadie, mountain bikers, fixed, hipsters etc.
Starting off somewhere central like Bournemouth Square, going into some countryside and stop off at a tea shop or a pub and get some tea/beer/grub. Any suggestions are welcome on route/meeting place etc are welcome.
Anyway if there are any riders that are about Bournemouth/Poole and nearby give us a shout here and we will try to organise something.
EDIT:
People who are near Poole/Bournemouth (I'll Update as people add themselves):
Tenbears10
Sweans308
Pifko
Kerley
emmeff
Smudgley
Arducius
Stevieboy
guffer
Edward_Wolf
tombarnettIf everyone gives me something like a Google-maps link of where they are, I will try to organise something soonish i.e. next couple of weeks, Probably be weekend, due to it getting dark early at the moment.
EDIT: I realised I haven't updated this recently ... If I have missed anyone around here ... give me a PM and I will add you in.

it's really unfunny, that site. really fucking racist and unfunny.
for a start, it's wrong. what it means is 'stuff middle class people like, black, white or asian'.
if someone started a 'stuff black people like' site they'd be shot.
Though it is the truth. Read the summaries for a few and being a lower/middle class boring cunt myself I agree entirely with every single one.

@Lucas - I emailed them after having checked out their blog. Dunno if the shops still going. Where about's is/was it?
@clubman - Thanks for the knowledge sir. Appreciated.
@TheCrane - It ACTUALLY turns out; Craig David is a real life sucker! (...and I am not Craig David after all. Had you fooled though right!? ...what with coming from Southampton n'all!).
Only Shirley High-street near the town end (which makes sense because they had a Shirley Lane batch of bikes). There was a crap Marin/Trek/Scott Dealer across the road, total arsehole used to run the shop.
There is another shop run by two blokes which I think is opposite the brass monkey bar, used to stock Trek/Lemonde/Specialized, can't remember for the life of me their names or the bike shop name.

on the subject of over rated...
War of the Worlds....
waste of time...
Shame.....
the Original 1950/60s film was quite good, quite enjoyed it when I was a kid. Also the H.G. Wells the time machine (the 60s version) was damn good. Probably both extremely dated, but was quite fun to watch when I was 10 on a saturday evening.

u won't see me in a gym.
If i were in need to get strong my body would adapt.
I worked on a farm in the summer holidays as a kid and i swear it was the best muscle strengthening thing i've ever done.
My body adapted to the speed and strength of the adults around me as much as it could in the given time period.
Although i technically lost weight during this period, i visably looked musclier and leaner and i was definatley stronger.
I definatelly recomend it :DWell good for you...
I can't take several months to work on the farm....Not particularly helpful for me is it or anyone else wanting to get fit/train for a sport is it.

I did some weights last year when my flatmate had a bench and shit-loads of weights. I'm kind of tempted to get some free-weights myself now (gumtree always has loads of weights for some reason) but I don't know what I'd do for pectorals without a bench (no space)
Pressups, or get a gym ball and use that, also good for situps.
good website on everything chest. -
love it.
