Yeah called them. Awaiting for a call back with a crime number tomorrow hopefully. My worry is that although the bike is insured they might not pay out for parts stolen rather that the whole bike.

Anyone had to deal with this sort of thing with insurance people before ?

Gonna call a few bike shops in the morning and let them know in case they hear of anything. Also will go down brick lane next weekend.

I'll probably see them attached to some bike over the next few weeks. I feel sorry for that person as unless they admit they bought stolen goods and give them back they might well end up in the royal london by the time I've finished.

Sunday lunch, very tasty. Went in there about 2.30 left at 6. Kept checking the bike was ok when having a fag which it was so must have been done about 5.30. They know the guy who did it as well. He's a young turkish lad who's been causing problems for a while. When they challenged him he came back with a brick at through it through their window.

Ok, came out of the Scots head pub in De Beauvoir to find my bike stripped. My H+Sons silver rims on custom orange Goldtec hubs see attached pics, nitto seat post and my brooks honey B17 saddle gone too.

As you can imagine well fucked off....

If anyone see them or hears of them for sale let me know. The wheels are one offs built my the good man Arup.

we are putting on the tour of east london. assemble at the pub at 1930 for a 2000 start.

manifests will be issued just before the start. (and measures will be put in place to prevent any skullduggery).

you will need your bike, bike lights, a pen and an london a - z.

prizes for winning male and winning female.

afterwards there will be party beers. party food, party music and party people in the pub.

so pump up your tyres and get down there.

something needs to be organised to try and address this ongoing major problem. It's got to the stage where you can't ride your bike anywhere unless you can guarantee it's totally safe.
