Any chance of a picture on the frame as a whole?
Yep indeedy, that would have probably been a good idea. I'll upload one tonight.

Hi there,
I picked up this 1976 Frame from Ebay Italy (The seller had some lovely frames - unfortunately this wasn't one of them). It was listed as a 76 Italian Frame but I have no clue what it could be. I started by investigating Olmo's (it had some similarities to a 70's Olmo Grand Prix) but the lugs are pretty much identical to a Lejeune. I would have gone for Lejeune but it doesn't have the distintive seat stays or the same brake bridge. The frame number is 76Y----. Unfortunately I cannot find any thing on the net with this serial number and prefix other than a Caterpillar digger (which I am pretty sure this is not)... Anyway, their may be some more telling marks underneath the horrible daub and dry paint job (the cable guide looked like it had campagnolo on it) but there is nothign on the drop outs. Oh, and I think it's for 27" wheels...

Same problem for me. Pity because it's a lovely old peugot. Even more of a pity because when I took out the old bottom bracket I found out it was a damned french thread. Why do Peugot have to make everything difficult? My mate has ended up with all my Campagnolo goodies as a result...
Anyone know where I can get a french thread bottom bracket for an early 70's Peugot?
If you have any luck on the Seatpost Ro-Land, let me know. I'm up in Tulse hill...
