was in Cuba for the winter.
Still have 15 handrolled cigs bought from the farmer, end finished by dipping it in sugar cane stickyness - delightfully mild and very easy (introduction) to smoke. back in london middle of sept, sell on a few if interest, not going to smoke them all, much prefer monte no.2 a la mrsmyth, though at two dorrar a pop much better value!

Just listening to their podcast:
"odge" does nothing for fixed riding in the podcast IMHO.
First: I don't think it's a trend and *...beyond the aesthetics there's a fan base.
*Then: You can get a chain in blue, gold, red....Hubs don't come in just silver...
Way to change groygen reader's perception that we're just graphic/media orientated cunts**I'm aware we are.

The New York leg of the ninth annual Bicycle Film Festival (BFF) kicks off today, and with it comes a series of limited edition bike saddles from Italian manufacturer San Marco. An exclusive first look, the Concor Supercorsa comes in five different colors, each corresponding to one of the three dozen cities participating. The seats have a leather nabuk cover and come in blue (New York), black (London), green (Milan), yellow (Paris) and red (Tokyo), each labeled with its respective city and the BFF logo.
There will only be fifty saddles in each color available online for €95 when the festival opens in that city. More images after the jump. From Tracko - Rex
EDIT - Although I don't think I would pay £95 for one...
Do you think the London one is black so the rain marks after day 1 will show up less?! -
a road map of the country might be worth it (you would need 3 perhaps four) to get the rough route, which i'm guessing you know, and a compass. I know it sounds stupid and archaic, but it gets you between town and town. If your not on a strict timetable, then thats a really stress free way of doing it, you end up taking guesses on routes, following instincts (and road signs!) and in my experience you see more of the country and people etc - which is the ultimate goal of bicycle touring as opposed to road racing. GPS is far to german*...
*efficient, got nothing against the Gernans me... some of my best friends are German, you know...

Seems like their going back to 'old style' touring in Taiwan...
I wonder how long it would be till the Paris - Roubaix / TdBelgie / other classic short tours are fixed..?*
Nabiis has been planning on a Tour de Taiwan for some time now. This summer we will be riding fixed gears through the whole country. On **5/30** (Sat) we will be leaving from Taipei. We will arrive back at Taipei on **6/8** (Mon). The entire Tour de Taiwan will take **10 days** and will all be ridden on fixed gears. We will ride clockwise around the entire island. Starting from the East side of the island, we will make our journey to the west. The total distance of this trip will be **1300 KM** Touring the island on a fixed gear rarely happens. This ride will be strenuous and dangerous. On this Tour de Taiwan , we will face many challenges. Come and join us, be part of the first Tour de Taiwan on fixed gears.
For the ride, Tour de Taiwan, Nabiis is humbly requesting sponsorship.
