Aye, i might do but unfortunatly i don't have the money to go "oh i liked that song i just listened to on kerrang/scuzz/mtv whatever so il just go out n buy an album" to then find out that the band are gash so il download some tracks listen to them for a bit n if i like them then go and buy the album.

I only download music from bands which i consider to be "big".
I have a lot of friends in bands in their spare time and am more than happy to pay for their albums/eps etc.
I also like buying cds, i have far more cds on my shelves than i have albums in my computer but if im going to pay for music i want an actual cd and cover/artwork etc to show for it. -
Ok i downloaded bittorrent again n then went to mininova and searched for some music, clicked "download this torrent" which opened up the wee "downloads" window and the torrent was in there but it was a tiny file compared to what mininova said the size was so i right clicked and selected "open" and "opera" opened up which seems to be a download thing like bittorrent right? I never downloaded opera though, is this the default service that mininova uses or what? and if its gonna use opera then do i need bittorrent?

. Dirty blonde on top
And, obviously, beards are awesome.
fixed
I had a beard from about 5th year in school up until about 2 or 3 years ago pretty much without a break. Then my g/f asked (forced) me to shave it off. Liked being clean shaven for a while but now its making a temporary comeback for a photo project at college and im thinking it might not be so temp. She also made me grow my hair which had been shaved for about 4 years and i think that seeing as the hair growth on the bottom of my head will be putting her in a cream puff i might as well shave the curly mess thats on top of my head at the same time!
I really need to htfu in relation to my bird. -

Wouldn't that invalidate your insurance?
i would have thought that having an MOT done would be crucial to VALIDATING my insurance? changing the bike back after might have insurance implications but as most of the mods are aesthetical rather than performance enhancing i'm not worrying too much. neiter are the 99% of the other bikers i know who do the same thing.

Genesis Flyer - freewheel s/s, bike i ride to college etc.
BMX - custom built, not used as much now as it used to be.
Puch conversion - will be fixed when i get a new rear wheel.
Raleigh Lizard - suicide fixed polo type thing, might build it with 700s for a laugh.
Flying Scot - geared retro road bike. -
Bicycle MOTs would surely be unbelievably difficult to enforce.
With a new car you get 3 years till the MOT is needed but is this not because cars are assembled in a strictly controlled and quality sampled factory environment. They are not assembled by a work experience kid at the local halfords (or worse - asda/tesco etc) who puts the forks on the wrong way round and doesn't know a headset press from an allen key.
I'd reckon that within 3 years a very high percentage of bikes have been discarded/replaced. Especially kids bikes.
As for riders like ourselves it'd be a doddle to circumvent the system. When it comes time to MOT my motorbike (Royal Enfield) i will have to reattach indicators and mirrors, change the exhaust back to the standard one, possibly rejet the carb to get the emissions down, swap my silver and black number plate for a standard yellow one. It'll take about a days work to get it ready for MOT and then another day after to put it back and il do this every year. How long will it take to slap a couple reflectors and a brake or 2 onto a track bike?
Ah ok. My bad.
