Bonjour mes amis,
Well just to echo all the great posts.... What a top day yesterday and what a great weekend ... I went to Green Park to watch the start on le screen grand. It was good atmosphere. Met some forum royalty there - Big Daddy Wayne looking for the CS Grupetta peleton - always a pleasure... The MA3K - lovely to chat to you John...
Stayed there for a couple of hours then wandered down to the Mall to see the finish line and all the crowds building. Then rushed to Cannon Street to see them come in. Got a front row spot and it was 6 or 7 deep by the time they all rolled in.
Now then cycling is for everyone, not just the elite riders, so having seen lots of riders following the cars, I thought well if you can't beat 'em... So off I rode along the route and got all the way to Parliament Square until the high viz crew put a stop to that.
Then headed to Condor to get the result and have a chat... Then rode over Waterloo Bridge on way home with all the team cars heading south, so gave it the big 'Allez Allez'
What a great day!
Peace and love to all,

ALLEZ ALLEZ LGFSSPeace and Love,
Tim -
Greetings folks,
Does indeed sound good. I have the day off so gonna take the passport and head north of the river to watch this.
Thought of checking out the finish area early on to get in the mood. Then probably go to Green Park as I can check race action and get some rays simultaneously ( who says men can't multi-task...). Will then either stay there, or if I want to see everything in the flesh / lycra, I'll head to City or East London where I thought it would be a little less bonkers than the finish.
I will be wearing the kit of that well known pro tour team - yes that's right - BRIXTON CYCLES
So I'll see you lovely people out and about on Monday.
ALLEZ ALLEZ LFGSS!!!!
Peace and Love,

Greetings folks,
I'll think I'll pass on your offer to accompany you Hippy - lovely though it t'would be...
Blue Quinn, I too have secured the day off, so will be up and about. I've had a look at the route and I'm going to have to complain to the Tour organisers as for some reason it doesn't pass through Tooting!!! Quel domage n'est pas.
Realise it is a couple of weeks away, so surely nearer the time people will come out of the virtual woodwork and a plan will take shape.
Really looking forward to this one. The last time it came here the opening stage was a time trial around central London and the crowds were absolutely massive. Second day was London to Tonbridge Wells / Canterbury? I rode out to watch it all go past and had a great time. Again lots of cyclists en route and I saw all the tour buses heading in to town for the start.
When watching road cycling there is huge anticipation and expectation, then suddenly it is all over in a matter of seconds. My wife says she can relate to this...
So couple of weeks to go so it's time to look through the wardrobe and get your team rigs together. Surprise surprise I'll be supporting Brixton Cycles.
Peace and love and see you in a couple of weeks.
Allez Allez,

T ' Greetings folks,
For those not heading up to the land of t' white rose..... stage three - Monday 07.07.14 the tour heads from Cambridge to Babylon-don.
I know it heads through the Olympic park and then heads down to Embankment.
Is anyone coming out to watch?
If so, any ideas for good places to view? Ideally I want somewhere with a good view and not 5 deep with mamils and nodders.
Are we having an LFGSS meet up?
If so can I come along?
Peace and t'love,
JAH t'im
Laner yesterday at the Brixton Car Boot Sale - greetings....
