I'm just picking up a few comments from a few pages back - re: Bicester.
The clubhouse looks great, and whilst compact - its well stocked with archive items on half of the shop floor, whilst the coffee bar takes up the rest. Bikes can be stored at the rear of the shop, in an outside area that is covered - with a couple of TV screens.
There are a couple of Tuesday and Sunday morning rides scheduled to take place from the Clubhouse each week, with plenty of decent routes on its doorstep (Chilterns or the Cotswolds). The only downside is that bikes can't be ridden anywhere within 'The Village', so bikes need to be walked into the store. -
The Core stuff is excellent. I use it for commuting in and i love this seasons tights. I've gone with the tights without a pad, simply to have a double layer when the temps drop, but i really like the chamois in this range - so tights with the pad will be comfy i'm sure.
The Core stuff had some issues with the leg grippers on the bibshorts when they were first launched, but thats well and truly sorted now. I highly recommend it. -

Dolan Track Champion 54cm with Alpina Forks (undrilled) and headset. Its in immaculate condition due to low usage.
I'm looking to get this passed on to someone who is going to use it more than i have. Used a handful of times at Manchester and Newport, i am looking to sell everything apart from the wheels.
So, take a look and let me know if you need any more pics.
Frame, Forks, Headset - £275
Sugino 75 Crankset (165mm) - £150
Sugino 75 BB - £40
Sugino Zen Chainring - 48t = £60
Sugino Zen Chainring - 49t = £60 SOLD
Thomson Elite Seatpost - 27.2 x 330 = £30 SOLD
Fizik Arione - £40
Pro Vibe 7s bars 40cm - £40I'm based in Warwickshire (hence the sale - i just can't travel to the velodrome as often as i'd like too!) so i can post the smaller items. Frame and Forks can be couriered, or i am in London and Manchester on a regular basis, so happy to deliver if a mutual agreement can be made.
Dibs are fine if its followed by a PM.
Cheers for now. Thanks for looking.

I need to replace the disc wheelset on the gate..... a Tricross. The stock axis 2.0 wheelset has been utter shite.
Any recommendations for a disc wheelset that will put up with winter commutes (40 mile roundtrip) AND put up with having a childseat on the back for when i do pre-school pickups. I fear that the childseat shortened the shelf-life of the Axis wheels. Not looking to spend a fortune...

I use a stepladder to the side of me for fluids, phone, towel and TV remote. I like the idea of the ironing board.... I can barricade myself into my 'training hub' (dining room) and prevent my daughter from walking in and trying to 'send and email to granny' and ruining my workout...... She's a real gem.

As the title says, I'm looking to get hold of a set of 53/39 130bcd chainrings at a good price. They are bound for the quarq this winter, so I am happy to buy a set that have had some use, but in good condition. If you have some and want to sell them - please let me know. I'm midlands based but could pick up or organise pick up to suit.
Thanks a million -

Depending on when you last did your FTP test, you might want to re-test and adjust your profile accordingly.
Alternatively, you could increase your workout stress by adjusting the % on each TR workout. You seem to have a decent amount of volume in there at the moment and you dont want to be loading your system too much if you are planning to go through the base and build phase process for the winter. Just make sure you aren't just doing the same that you did last year...
Is anyone riding The Poor Student on 6th Jan?
