no probs, word of warning though with moustache bars regarding stem, especially if its an old knackered one like mine. have run LOADS of different bar combos on my beater bike and the moustach bars were the only ones to make a really annoying creeking noise from the stem clamp. I recon its becaouse of the leaverage, great for beefing it up hill though!

20mph sucks if you’re a driver. The average driver during busy times is just trying to get to and from work, or they are working. i don't see why the driver should have to be subject to more rules than they are already, after all that is what we (cyclists) are complaining about, the possibility of being subject to more rules.
To enforce a 20mph rule to cars everywhere would surly mean that you would have to enforce it to bikes also, and who doesn't ever get up to 20mph down a hill. i actually don't know as i don't have a bike computer/heart rate/gps/twat meter on my any of my bikes (because they look shit), which in turn makes a point, what’s to stop bikes from getting speeding tickets?
I think the problem shouldn't be about restricting speed, and anyone who uses the words 'health and safety' is talking out of there arse. perhaps having more cycle awareness incorporated into a driving test or some informal advertising aimed at cyclists in the form of billboards next to bike racks which show diagrams of blind spots and dangers of jumping lights. Which 'us lot' are all aware of anyway but might put off someone who cycles rarely trying to copy cat and getting hurt.

oh i miss cycling around oxford, have very good memorys from getting up at 4am and cycling from wantage into oxford to see the may day celibrations.
Commute today is going to be savage, blowing a gale in the wrong direction and i just know the wind will have stopped when i finish at about midnight so i won't even get a push home! Serves me right for moving to sweden, good cycle paths though.

The original Halo Courier tyres have been roundly berated on here. No-one should buy them. It seems as though you may not have read any of this thread, and therefore might not have been aware of its extremely well-known and truly shit reputation.
Your right, i was just browsing aimlessly without a care in the world, it never crossed my mind to scroll back and read over a 1000 posts! interesting that in your review you gave them 8/10 for handling and 9/10 for durabiliy. Surly on your 400 miles a week you should have noticed that you had trouble when riding over cracks.
Fair play for putting the list together but i don't understand why you didn't do a skid rating, im just guessing that more than most enjoy a little skid now and again?

The pro 2 single speed hub is ACE! it comes with bunch of different spacers so you can get the chainline right too. Also just fitted the 'Exite' carbon forks to my Scandle, also very impressed. They have just the right amount of flex to soak up those small annoying bumps the make your hands go numb, but also make the front wheel go where you point it.

Sunday ride was a nice chilled one.
Was thinking of riding down to the coast and back on wed evening before i head back down south. Meet at 7 at monument if you want to come, going to loose my fixed virginity on this one plus i'll be driving in the night so won't be burning it.
