Carradice super c's are awesome, but also massive. they have a little plastic hook on inside which locates them onto the frame, but it's the top clips, which really hold them on. The Karrimoor's i've got have same cotton material as carradice.
Havn't got ur PM, send it on, or i'll try to put photose here later. -

bought about two years ago, used once, don't need it anymore.
it's very similar to this one inside..but wheeled with handles on end too and grey/black in colour.
Can take photos this eve, if anyone's interested. Perfect condition, though no wheel bags. Pickup from my office just off regent st, or oxted-surrey.cheers

I've been to Krakow for 3 short trips and always enjoyed it and would love to go back again.
Echo much of the above, def Kazimierz as it's historic/scenic and feels bit quieter than the rest of the city.Just sitting in the main sq with a beer is a lovely experience, think that club over 4 floors was called ooba dooba or something!
Nicest meal i had was in Pod Aniolami, just off the sq, but if you fancy nice pizzas and beers this place is very good pizzeria_cyklop www.pizzeriacyklop.pl/
Enjoy it

did it last year, awesome ride, going back to do it this year too. Can't wait.
set off in pitch black and the temp was -2, saw the sun rise over misty vineyards and rolling hills. Unforgettable, especially the food stops, which consist of salami/figs/wine/bread/ribolatta/panneforte!
Don't be fooled, completing the long distance within the time limit is a serious ride, especially as this year it's mandatory to use pre 1987 bikes.

at school i did 3 europe cycletours, flying each way, bout 6-7 bikes in total. We just used pipe insulation, turned the bars 90degs, took off the pedals. No-one ever had a problem (apart from ba forgetting to load the bikes once). Odd scratch but nowt serious.
i did L'Eroica last year and flew with bike in DHB padded bag and found it a serious faff, so about to buy a tardis bag and reinforce it with non crush padding. -

just for ref. people, spoke to mario (vaz), who's brother is fixing the chainstay for a very reasonable £50 and then mario's respraying it and sorting some new decals. Very interested in the results as there's some 50/50 views on his work, he gauged it would be done in 2/3 weeks. My view is that it's cheaper than a new frame and if it's an ok job and lasts a bit i'll be chuffed.
For what it's worth, he did say he'd had a few other condor pistas in to fix and didn't rate the taiwan quality too highly.

I'm going to try and speak to a framebuilder this wknd and i'll keep you all updated what he thinks. I'll probably end up with a diff frame, but i'm sure with a decent bit of effort it could be easily re-straightened for light duty for polos/flat riding, so may well offer it up through the classifieds.
yeah, still want one.
