i have some golf clubs id like to make into polo mallets but after chopping off the ends,
ive realised they are rather thin - 1cm diameterDo you think drilling them and using a very thin bolt would be ok or is there any other recommended technique?
i did see some golf club mallets at the polo tournament but didn't inspect them.. -
i know its already been said but it really was such a great day
I wasn't playing but was there all day and the atmosphere from all the spectators made it fantastic - the tension in the semifinals and finals was incrediblei think polo is definitley the best game EVER to watch [and play] - so much more interesting than football, basketball or anything else in the olympics
so thanks again for a great day -

Bernhard Re: Half chainring bolts, these are bolts that are shorter than regular chainring bolts that are designed to go through 2 chain rings and the crank, half chainring bolts are used for single chainrings and the crank. I expect PJ built a new rear wheel for the bike using a track hub.
bernhard - your powers of deducution are amazing
thanks very much for the half chainring bolts explanation

Cohen way to go, good work... on second look at my shoddy painting i think gabes might be right... i should paint to the edges.i might bring down my gold chrome spraypaint which looks really realistic
then you could do the edges with that and it would look WELL SEXY,
however i think i might be running low on chrome.. -
please please please get a mac
they may be slightly more expensive (education discounts are great though) but well worth it
and if you ran a pc and a mac with the same amount of ram the mac would run faster so you can't compare specs like that
plus your college macs
plus you won't get viruses or need to spend money of firewalls etc.
plus your mac won't go out of date in 2 years (i use a 4 year old g4 laptop and it runs fantasticilly even with the newest software)
yeah thats me done
(ps i don't work for apple)
