Hey all, I'm wondering whether the old adage 'if it aint broke, don't fix it' applies? Captain Kidd was quiet, in a non-busy area, relatively central with lots of bike parking... how would people feel about making it a regular haunt?

did it - the ride was great! I recommend it, zooming past shivering tired people waiting for buses was amusing...

Thanks all! I'm planning to park the bike for bit at London bridge, take the train to peckham, party, bus from peckham to London bridge and then bike back to Hackney. So mixing it up!

And yes, I am a girl - used to bike hecklers!

What with all the free travel (which will doubtless be rammed on NYE) I'm tempted to get on the bike. Thing is, I don't like cycling around crazy saturday night drivers as it is, I'm just assuming it will be better than waiting for the night bus... has anyone cycled to a NYE venue? I'm not drinking, so assume I'll be able to see the road :-)
