hey i know this kind of question has come up a few times but i'm still not sure exactly what to do.. . i'm looking for a new seat post for my peugoet, the diammeter is 24mm. I know that decathlon sells 23.4mm seat posts and people say that you can shim it up to 24mm, but i can't find anywhere that sells shims this kind of size, and i'm not sure about using beer cans really... so is there a way around this? can i adjust a bought shim by trimming it and squeezing it? is this a really dumb question?
