no...i was laughing about the word wang as in to 'throw'...not wang as in 'penis'.the picture i created in my brain was a funny one, instead of placing the pizza carefully in the oven (to be sure none of the ingredients fell off) he 'Frisbeed' it.i imagined it being from quite a distance with the pizza hit the back of the oven.
ohh the mirth.i was visualizing the same.
i have been making this recipe a lot lately, it is really, really good and easy, and vegan (although i'm not).
**
spicy eggplant basil**chinese eggplants, or if you can't find them, baby eggplants, or if you cant find them, regular eggplants... 4 or so (prob only 2 if you get regular)
garlic, as much as you want, at least 2 cloves
rooster sauce, also known as sambel oelek, again - to your taste, or just regular chili sauce works, too
a lemon
olive oil
as much fresh basil as you can get your hands on - 2 cups minimum
2 teaspoons brown sugar
soy sauce, about a 1/4 cup should doso, chop the eggplants into "fingers," a couple inch long cubic rectangular shapes, i leave the skin on if it's chinese or baby eggplant
mince the garlic
coarsely chop the basil leavesheat a little olive oil in a big pan, wok if you have one
saute the garlic but don't burn it
add the eggplant, you probably need more oil, saute until its cooked
add the rooster sauce, as much as you think you can take, add the soy sauce and the brown sugar and mix it all up
now grate the rind of the lemon over the pan into the eggplant
stir it up, and add the basil
stir it around until the basil leaves are wilted - and voila, the tastiest dish ever.serve it with brown basmati rice and pinot grigio. bingo

hi, i bought a patagonia critical mass bag on super-sale in march and then forgot to return it in 30 days (smart). it still has the tags on it. it was just a bit too big for me, i ended up with a chrome citizen, i think this is more the size of their metropolis.. if you're a boy i think it should work for you.
it's the older style so the outside looks a little different than the link, but it's the same bag. it's a silvery gray color. i paid $60 for it, so i would sell it for 30 pounds, it would be great to get rid of it. i won't be in london till next weekend, but if you're interested let me know.

Natural Ice is my beer of choice Stateside. Good effort! It's the only one with any decent volume of alcohol in it.
no wayyyyy... it's like piss water. the usa has many many far better beers (doppelbocks and double ipas and more if you're looking for high alcohol content) than natty ice! natty ice is the worst.

Arcade Fire stuck on repeat here.
I went to their Porchester Hall gig last month, and it sucked. The sound was dreadful, too dreadful for words. It's a real shame too as their albums are among the finest to have surfaced in the last few years.
get cape. wear cape. fly. Like Arcade Fire a lot too, need to get the new album.
i'd forgotten about this video since last summer and all these youtube vids posted on here made me think of it... some guy made it from clips of a western that i've never seen but it's certainly dramatic. for some reason it gets in my head.. :
YouTube - Arcade Fire "My Body is a Cage"
ps this is my body is a cage, the last track from what can hardly be called their new album anymore, neon bible. (an excellent last track if you ask me)

World cinema film marathon (City of God,
that's my favorite movie!! the most beautiful cinematography ever.
i am soooo into this idea (once i get to london... less than two weeks!)! projector movie marathons are the best ... i want to do a godfather marathon because i've never seen any of them. or rocky. i feel like i'm missing out on the classics.
does anybody in the uk watch a show called arrested development? it really is the most genius and hilarious sitcom ever, it was cancelled from the fox network and has since developed a cult following over here in the usa. i've got it all on dvd, there's 3 seasons of it, and it's perfect for marathoning. i am really curious as to whether or not anybody watches it over there.

I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked, dragging themselves through the negro streets at dawn looking for an angry fix, angelheaded hipsters burning for the ancient heavenly connection to the starry dynamo in the machinery of night,
ally g probably coined the term

oh god i hate the french language. ich glaube deutsche ist dast beste, aber mein grammatik ist scheeeeiiiiiiiiisssseeee. bier = besser deutsch, wann mir war im hochschule ich war ein austaschschulerin im osterreich fur ocht monaten und ich hatte dort deutsch gelernt... aber, aus ich hat gesacht - mein grammatik ist am schlechtesten ...... okay that's enough, i just really like german, even though my own german is rather sloppy. is germany in asia? i'm just not quite sure because in my eleventh grade world history class we just had to make big cookies of african countries and fit them together into a map for the fat teacher. true story.
this website has some very reasonably priced artwork you can purchase directly from the artists so you can get original, low-cost artwork and still support the artist :
www.etsy.com
etsy also has really awesome accessories, jewelry, trinkets and everything else handmade.
also, the fine art adoption network is a website of artists looking to buck the corporate art trend ("art=$$"), so you can "apply" to adopt a piece of original art, and if they choose you all you have to do is pay s&h. just come up with some cool stories or something to make yourself stand out.
www.fineartadoption.net
even if you're broke, there's nothing better to spend some money on. well maybe your bike. art or your bike.
