The Tricross Comp has carbon seat stays and a carbon fork for all the comfort advantages carbon fibre has to offer. But as said before, for £1200 you could get a Trek 1.9 with full Ultegra for example and still only have an aluminium frame.
Its worth thinking that realistically, how good can a full carbon bike around £1000 be with the materials, and how much filler have they put in there.

The UK sport website is pretty good for showing positive tests in a wide range of sports

edit: just clicked the FT link and realised they got all the info off UK sport, duh....

Also just grabbed a Raleigh Royal 531 to build up for me as a good distance fixed, just need cranks / bars / wheels to get done....any 27inchers kicking about onsite?*
Have you tried looking on the hetchins website? http://www.hetchins.org/100.htm
Email them with a picture of your bike, probably with close-ups of the lugs and they're pretty quick at getting back to you -

i use a montane velocity dt jacket and it's great. folds up into a tiny package you can just stuff in your bag, or great for riding in. it is very thin but i just layer up in the winter or wear a good baselayer underneath and it keeps me warm. and it only weighs 220g so it's nice and light too.

Well i'm down in Devon at home at the mo, I'm a student at Nottingham Trent and I'm living in West Bridgford. I've got a Giant XTC Team hardtail which I've just done-up, a jump bike and a cross bike in Devon and a tramp bike for riding to uni and into the city on. Although I work at Freewheel in Notts so I get to ride the demo bikes when I like, usually up in the peaks!

I've been thinking of using my old track bike as a fixed commuter (in Nottingham) and I was wondering if anyone could work out what it was. My searches on the net led me to this site for anything to do with track bikes! It's got, Cinelli - Made in Italy, stamped on the BB and a serial number that matches with one on the steerer of the forks (900 737). It also has Cinelli logos on the seat clamp and head tube lugs, but Cinelli did sell their lug sets, although I haven't found any matching ones on the net. Was just wondering what it might be and what an original might look like!
Cheers.
I think he'd be happy in the region of £100+ .
Got a pic of the cluster, quite different and it has the Cinelli stamp logo again.
