Needs:
- rear hinge replacing
- front hinge replacing(with the biggest one I was told)
- 2 new tyres
- 2 sets of brake pads
- new chainring, chain and rear sprockets
- new RH pedal
I worked out the cost of this would be around £300+ after totting up parts for the bits I could replace and the bike shop doing the hinges.
It's rusty around the back end (see pic) which I would have wanted sorting before hinges being done so I guessed a prep and respray would be around £200.
Got a new baby and toddler at home so haven't got the time to sort all that out. Would be happy for someone else to take it on and give it a new lease of life.

Unfortunately I'm in King's Lynn, so not much help with Wickes recommendations. I fit the kitchen myself over about 10 days. They wanted 2-3k to do it. Only took as long as I had to move a few taps and waste pipes. All of the units are basically flat pack furniture so really easy to do, just need to follow a few basic rules.

How big is the kitchen? I took accurate measurements in to wickes after playing around with the online designers from other companies. The salesman was good and gave advice on which bits fit exactly and the correct amount of blank panels I would need (for example knowing I only needed one end piece which I could cut vertically into 2 to go either side of the washing machine. That saved £30 for a panel).
I fit a 3.5m×3m from wickes for £4500. This included inbuilt cooker, dishwasher, gas hob, extractor, all of the floor tiles, wall tiles, adhesive, sink and taps. Think it came to 6k, they had a discount on and I got another few hundred knocked off. One thing to mention is that I was left with no spare major parts at the end, meaning the bloke calculated it perfectly (just a few hinges and shelf supports). Two friends who got kitchens with B&Q and Homebase has £300-500 worth of bits that came but weren't needed. If you paid them to fit it I'm sure those bits would've gone back in the van......

Impending birth of our second child has forced some updating of the van. The original layout had no seat belts in the back, with a sofa and a single square seat with storage underneath. I was on the lookout for minibus seats with integrated seatbelts but the going rate of £100-200 was a bit much. Fortunately a week later an ad popped up on gumtree for a range of seats at £20 each only 10 miles away.
When I went to pick one up the bloke was converting an ex-Council disability school bus into a camper so was stripping out the 12 seats on rails in there. The seat I got was removable and he gave some half meter lengths of Unwin railing that it goes in. The only problem was that it had a hideous pattern, bright yellow grab handles on the headrest and a fluorescent yellow seatbelt.
Fortunately I found some spare material in the camper from when the previous owner had it returned so tasked my mother to copy the seat covers. A new seatbelt was sourced from BHIUK for £35 delivered. Did the fitting yesterday. Had to drop the half filled tank which, on reflection, I should've drained. Luckily the van is high enough so that you can just crawl underneath without jacking. Pretty happy with the finished article as now I can take the toddler and baby out.

I'm going to guess he smashed his inhaler after a stage. Did a wee test and it's higher than it should be.
This seems like a fairly plausible explanation. If he smashed his inhaler during the stage then there would be plenty of video/pictures to show this. Salbutamol is short acting and drops off quite quickly within a few hours so it couldn't be blamed before the start of the stage.
Taking more than 2-4 puffs during the last hour of racing would be pretty pointless as he wouldn't bronchodilate any more. It would only serve to make him tachycardic which would be detrimental.

For £5k and the models mentioned I would be looking at a Skoda Octavia estate. Quick check on Auto trader shows a bit of selection and they may be cheaper London way as they fall foul of new emission regs. V50 and A4 have much smaller boots and you're paying badge tax, same with V70 and A6.
