At approx 07:40/07:45 today a male cyclist was involved in an incident, there were a number of individuals and vehicles around.
Didn't personally witness the incident so deets are sparse.
IP appeared to be conscious and the ambos were onsite.
Heal up brother!

Looking for a few bits to finish off a project on a budget. All black for the matchy matchy look; 700c front wheel with braking surface (black spokes, black hub, black rim), front brake caliper (black standard road calliper)... as for the chainring I'm looking for 47t 144BCD black minimal use to brand new.

Got hit by a car turning left with no indicator.
Riding down Queens Road, Peckham towards New Cross, in the cycle lane filtering up the inside of the very slow moving traffic. No cars indicating, make the judgement it's safe to proceed, then get side swiped, land on the bonnet then bounced into a mini somersault. Cracked helmet, small hole in Goretex, bike seems fine and I've come of with minor grazes and bruising.

I've seen Tynan... once... out West, this was not Tynan unless he's gotten good (unrecognisably) good at make up

Heads up anyone that rides through Camberwell... riding down Coldharbour Lane, turned on to Denmark Hill approaching Camberwell and sweeeeerve as some nutter is standing between two buses swinging a road bike out like a pendulum across my path at arms length! Stopped to ask him what he was up to and his response was an incoherent torrent of swear words and insults. Assumed he was chemically imbalanced/intoxicated/unstable, rode out of there and though better of it. Thanks to the lady on the grey single speed at the lights that asked if everything was okay! Keep them peeled there are some oddballs out there....
