Unusual Japanese MTB frame, forks and headset. I think I have the BB somewhere too and rear mech protector, all included.

In good condition, there are a few chips here and there to the paintwork as you would expect from a frame of this age but all in all it still looks very tidy, with splatter paint job.
Tubing: Ishiwata 'Croston', Japan. Penta butted downtube (that's right, 5 butts!), quad butted top tube and single butted seat tube.
Some really nice details on this frame, such as shoulder strap braze ons inside the main triangle. It also comes with a kuwahara rear mech protector, matching blue quill stem (not shown in pics) and headset.
I bought this off ebay a couple of years ago, but haven't got round to building it up properly and it is just sitting in dry storage. It's an unusual frame and it really deserves a bit more love and attention then I am giving it
I'm about 5' 8" and it fits me pretty nicely with the original stem, but I'll send through accurate dimensions later today.
I am willing to post this if required, but it can also be collected from North East London. Viewings also welcome.
I'm looking for £170, now £145

Hello,
Today I was Cycling down a busy road in Sheffield, when a car approached alongside and tried to turn left onto a side road. I was travelling quite fast, the driver obviously didn't see me and I collided with the side of his car as he turned. I think I went over his bonnet and landed on the road in the middle of the junction after rolling several feet. Aside from a few grazes and bruises I felt ok. The driver was very concerned and seemed shocked. He gave me his name and number but as I was in shock I did not take down any insurance details and I didn't call the police. My handlebars had twisted in the headset and I straightened them out, my bike looked fine but when I set off I quickly realised the handlebars were bent out of shape. This appears to be the only damage my bike received (aside from scratches but I haven't had the chance to inspect it closely yet. I didn't collect any information from any witnesses, and in the end just cycled off. I don't know if there was any damage to the car. I do not know what I should do now, I have been told I should report the incident to the police but as I don't appear to be badly injured I don't know if this is necessary. Sorry for the long discourse, I was just wondering what I should have done at the time, and what I should do now after the event?
Thanks, Alex .

My dad swears by glucosamine, he takes it in a liquid form. He broke his knee when he was 18, and has had keyhole surgery to remove bits of cartilage twice. If the bit of cartilage is broken off you will need surgery. Then when it is healed you *need to exercise it a lot. *Cycling is good, its low impact.
Good luck on the recovery -

It doesn't have to look shit if you do it yourself, but if you go down that route you have to be infinitely patient, spend a lot of money (more then a pro job), have a lot of time on your hands, be a perfectionist. If you do not have all of those qualities it will only look average at best, and you will still have spent a lot of money.
I've got this pretty generic ally road frame for sale.
56cm seat tube. Funky aerodynamicish seat tube. Yellow.
It's almost a complete bike. Would make a solid beater. Just needs a bit of tlc and a few components to get it running.
I have too many other projects to get it together as a complete bike.

I'd take £110 for the lot: frame, forks, crankset, stem, levers, rear brake, rear and front mech, wheels.
located in clapton.
