Heh ... The radial backlash is coming, another sign of the End Times?
I saw an urban hip hop fixie conversion with a pie plate the other day! Seriously! Unless it was a singler who liked to keep pedalling all the time to make it look like it was fixed. Went well with the whole riding single and having no back brake phenomenon (and no bar tape, natch).
suicidal, how can you brake effectively while cornering...

A year may not be very long, if you're not doing many miles, but I'm sure spoke pattern and tension comes into play here as well, but yes mine failed just like the one above....also campag gear is not made for people over 80kg...it says so in their guranatee!
i'm 68kg, spoke pattern front: radial, rear: radial/2x
clearly sheriff''s not worth spending money on if you are fat :))

We've been round this one a million times
Nothing to do with bearings or anything else.
Riding track sherrif stars on the road does this...
... to them, so don't
aaa... you talking about blowouts as they call it... seen this photo before, but haven't experienced or seen one in flesh :)

well ok if your going to wittle me down
i thought that if you rode them on the street you would fuck them up
perhaps i got the wrong end of the stick or skim read the wrong thing
i have been riding campy track records on the street, no problems, just have to clean/regrease more often.. actually you can feel when grease becomes sticky (i'm sensitive:) pure pleasure to ride on when freshly regreased :)

Colnago Super with Campy SR groupset. A couple of hours to go and only £210...
I was very tempted myself to have a punt seeing as its my size but i don't think getting another bike would go down well with her indoors ;-)

been watching this for a few days, you could sell the parts and get the frame for free. c record crank, delta brakes, campag crono rims, + top spec gazelle frame. id do it but bought way too much lately.

holly shit, i would keep croce d'aune :)
i agree, just wanted to point out outstanding workmanship... the rear brake cable housing/stop is pure porn... :{)
