little more money, but anything is better than winstanleys: http://www.ridelow.co.uk/fuji-couriertrack-bike-p-1109.html
Yeah I noticed this, I think I will go for it, I'd rather pay a bit more and not take the apparantly very high risk
This is sold out in 54...56 it has though

well i rang up to check the bike was in stock, because i've heard they don't always stock what the website says, and they told me they did have it in, but I've since read posts that said even when you ring and they tell you they have the bike in stock, after you've paid..it transpires they don't have it...

Anyone had any dealings with them? I've read mixed reports on here and on bikeradar, quite a few problems with sending wrong size/wrong model.. I'm hesitant to use them but they are the only place I can find with the bike I'm after "in stock", in the size I'm after...and they are cheap
So please let me know your experiences... I searched titles and there is no other thread like this with a name specifically related to winstanleys... but I am aware there are mentions of winstanleys within other threads, so no need to reiterate that fact.

Hmm, just went to the one @rathbone place, the guy was very helpful and chatty, but he reckons there will be no fuji tracks at evans stores until mid may. Tempted by the 2008 model from winstanleys at ~295, but without being able to try for size am dubious. I am usually a 56 road bike (and a 56 for a pinnacle bachelor no1..) but I guess a track bike is a different kettle of fish

fair comment, will put them up tomorrow. You can see these pics in higher res at http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/jimrperkins/BikesForSale
Frame is pretty sturdy, and has some nice detail, but the paintwork is somewhat chipped.... Not really sure how much it's worth, most the other single speeds on gumtree are going for more but they may have better components...

I'm looking to sell it because its just a bit too big for me.. I have a 56 racing bike which is just perfect... but if anyone has something similar that would fit me and wants to trade/part ex even better...
Cheers

Just bought my first single speed, but we have a problem.. it wobbles as I cycle, particularly coasting downhill. My friend thinks its a problem witht he wheel, with the hub perhaps. However I´ve also heard it might be a trueness problem:
when i turn the bike upside down there is signficance give, like if I hold the wheel so that its not turning, i can wobble it from side to side, would trueness problems cause this, or in the case of trueness problems, would the wheel still be stable at the hub, it would just move around as you turn the wheel...?
