my worst ever drunk ride was from old st to dalston one night after an impromtu night watching the football. kept falling off at 2mph, actually feel asleep at one point lying on the pavement still stradling the bike. I missed my eurostar the next morning. Twat.
I just woke up my housemates laughing at this. Fcking classic mate.

Hi Folks,
After some advice here. I'm trying to ascertain whether or not I should drill my fork and if I'd be able to find short reach calipers to fit.
My original plan was to replace it with a drilled chrome fork, however I'm having difficulty finding a nice enough fork with at least 20cm steer. These generic tange forks etc spoil the look of the bike...found a few race forks (colnago/ benotto) but not with long enough steer... so, back to the drilling..
Is the reach distance calculated from the middle of the caliper pin to the top of the brake pad or middle of the brake pad? Measured distance from (would be) hole to wheel below. 29mm. Does such a caliper exist?

Thanks Fellas... I'll check it out.
I still think it would be awesome (if commercial property was more obtainable) if a bunch of you guys setup a proper premises...... I suppose the downside would be having to charge more for the bikes... but I could never see it being as much as BLB. Their location probably doesn't help.

Nowhere to be found.
I find it strange, given the popularity of track/ fixed bikes in London, that we don't have more stores... and I'm not talking another Condor... rather something to break the monopoly of BLB.
A lot of us are ordering from Japan/ USA etc, and hardly because it's cheaper...given shipping/ handling/ tax.
hmmm (scratches chin..)
