Seriously what is wrong with Shimano? Every bit of Shimano kit I have ever owned has stood upto years of abuse.
it's athestics and the hoods are like buckets, personally I don't like the shifting mechanism either, especially when breaking it doesn't feel as safe. I absolutely love the sound of the campag free wheel. They now just got their shit together for proper aero hoods as well.. that helps I guess
hey it's all opinion go with what you're happy with

I had a lorry almost run me over on borough high street today, most threatened I think I've ever felt (without it being my fault anyway)... had a how am I driving sticker... 0800 22 55 22 or something like that... anyone think it's worth calling up and complaining?
yes, talk to HR about it worst case for you is he'll get a telling of and be more aware hopefully...

My sugested route. Start Saville Row. Tea at the Ritz then drinks on the lawn with the Royals. I understand this may be a bit of a chalenging route for some Gentlemen/ Ladies who dont want to exert themselves.
will locks be required?... There are bounders and cads about these days

the route that you are talking about is probably the best, but it is a gruelling route to ride, might want to try going through epsom, leatherhead etc....
yeah the A232-A24-A246 wouldn't be that bad... I've done the route on the weekend from Addiscombe (not far from you) down to dorking then back past redhill and up biggin hill.
so I don't know the route on the 246 though

ok I'm looking for pedals for my build the frame is a A F Mills in baby blue and I've got loads of nice shiny components for it.
the problem is
these don't really go and I'm not willing to use toe clips...
Does any one know and time mtb compatible pedals that would be more suitable???
I don't want to end up with different shoes for different bikes.thanks

Not the first time but the first time something genuinly complicated happened... cycling along and needed to turn right across a busy stream of traffic slowed and pulled to the side waiting for a break went to put my foot down and bam people outside a pub laughing at me
I'm impressed with the time atac love here, normally they are spd's obscure cousin. I'm rocking the time atac xs carbons atm

Stupid question, but if you get a circular tat (like I have planned) on your shoulder and bulk up or put on weight, will it still look right? I guess that if you get it right on the centre it would be OK?
it should still look fine as a circle on the undulating surface of the body is never going to be 'perfect'... obviously if you eat loads of pies and folds appear it isn't going to look good. but building up muscle mass wont affect it realistically
For example if someone got a band round their arm and later developed bingo wings it would look more like a slide than circle.

Na, thats Nikole. I'm not into the Jap stuff to be honest.
I'm in the middle of a Victorian themed sleeve! Lucy is the bonnie Rock-a-billy one who site next to the door.
Whats wrong with his 12 small ones like?
Ah yeah I know who you mean.
nothing at all just a tongue in cheek comment about his coverings
-
Nicely done.
Just back from Intoyou just now. The lovely Lucy still working on my arm....
I'm booked in with Duncan in 2 months! I'm pretty much letting him have free reign on my calf.
Make sure he does one piece rather than 12 smaller ones!
Lucy is she the one from NZ? are you getting some oriental type stuff done yeah?
-
Dude!
Couple of small ones at the bottom of my back...no pics and not bike related sorry!
Am getting another one done in the next couple of weeks right shoulder blade, blazing sun. After seeing yours it's swollen in my head from a couple of inches across to covering half my back...not sure what the missus will think
bigger is better, just think of the detail you can add.... she'll learn to love it once you've stopped crusting up the bed
My missus has resigned herself to the fact every time I go the tattoo is loads bigger than I initially envisage. it does mean more time and £££ though

Hello Mr.Pun,I am looking to get some ink work down next week,I usually go to the same artist but that leg tatt is well impressive, any chance you would be interested.and if so where are you located. Thanks
I could do it if you wanted but you'd be my first... Xed lehead is the guy who did the work he's based up in walthamstow right now
in his gallery you can see my inner arm piece too..
That work was done at Into you in Farringdon
Next week I suspect is impossible you need to book these boys well in advance unless some one cancels and you're ready to rumble
I'll be cycling in from croydon after a fine breakfast any one want to ride in with me? (probably heading down the A23 through brixton etc). Once in town I'll refresh myself by imbibing some of the grain. I'll of course be bringing some single malt from my gentlemans club. The smws.
