I am hooked now. Didi Copenhagen Half last weekend in 1:40:02. Monday signed up for Paris Marathon. I will be looking to this thread a lot for advice :)

How do you conciliate cycling with running? And do you know why running makes you a worst cyclist?

you are right Wi of there were 11000 men and only 600 women riding l'etape of these 600 a hundred were the rapha women, chapeaux. If this is not encouraging women to ride bikes, what is it? I know a girl that in May didn't even know how to change gears and she bloody did it!! And yes a man helped her a lot and gave her encouragement when she needed it. I can't really see a problem with that and he was amazing at doing that.

It looks like I can make this, which is unusual so next hurdle is I still no longer have a working fixed, are gears ok, or at least tolerated :-) ?

i will be geared. I don't bother going on rides fixed anymore.
