It's not like you go into hackney (or any area of london for that matter), and are immediately targeted. It's down to luck. People on here have bad experiences because they've had far more time for them to happen in.

yup very true im asian which means im either really lucky or really UNlucky.
at times ive had young black youths hugging me asking me to join there 'gang' whilst turning to my friends and completly battering them right infront of me unable to do anything.
or ive had it the other way round casue i have slgithly long hair and there like ure not white why u got long hair for an getting battered, works both ways.

yea thats true, but i have had plenty of trouble more then my fair share, being just 17 i have spent the last 4-5 years living pretty much 'on road', ive been approached, mugged, battered, seen much, much worse, but its not down to the area being hackney, its just london these days, hackneys not the best of areas but far its not the worst either, perhaps im only talking about my age group but having been on the streets pretty much everyday and seeing the enviroment around me i would say parts of hackney are lovely and parts are perhaps not.

haha u lot must be unlucky im 17 in the prime age to be targeted in and around hackney, yet ive found more problems at home (islington), yet i feel if u know the roads to stay away from u will be fine

haha yea cranes right diff parts are worse or better, dalston, stokie, stamford hill, london fields, there not too bad as there on edges, hackney central, downs, wick, homerton, upper and lower clapton abit worse, mere streets notorious itself, but vicki parks nice. oxford street in about 20-25 mins from the first places, 30 or more from the others.

hmm well it looked like a pretty damn nice frame which is lugged but very well made i think
its way nicer then either of the 2 links jacqui put up
its defs a very old frame though and its 57cm which mite even be a lil big for me
and yea the price is quite alot, but quality is never cheap
and i want a frame i can keep for a long time

alright guys, well bascially im about to buy this rory o'brien track frame for 340 quid which seems to me to be really well crafted but i want to make sure with u lot if these frames are any gd? and what the value of other rory o'brien frames? and any of u lot out there with a rory o'brien frame?
