I emailed Dolan last night as well so waiting on a response. They seem to use RD2's on their full builds so I guess they must work? Everyone seems to have different experiences fitting cranks to these frames, i'm not sure if it's just because I have a 56 but from the geo table they all should have the same rear end?
The Sram's seemed so bad (much worse than the stronglight's with a 107 BB which were just scraping a touch) I didn't try it with a tightened wheel but i'll give that a whirl this evening and i'll try and pick up a 1mm spacer as well.
Worst comes to worst i'll check out that halo hub but i'd really prefer to keep my current wheels.
Cheers for your help everyone!

I got my dolan fxe 56cm the other day and I'm having a nightmare finding a crank that'll run the correct chainline and not foul the frame.
I tried the stronglight 2000 with a 107 bb and it fouled the frame I tried a 113mm bb and the chainline was dreadful but the cranks did not foul.
I tried a SRAM omnium crank with the standard bb and its even worse than the stronglight with the original bb! The spider fouls the frame. I'm not sure if I can get a different bb or not but I guess that would wreck the chainline?
Have I got a duff frame or should I just try some different cranks? People seem to have successfully fitted both of the cranks I've tried already. I don't really want to have to get a new wheel with a different chainline.
Any help is appreciated!
TL;DR- which cranks fit a dolan fxe without ruining the chainline?

Have only really used this a handful of times and am moving to a smaller place so trying to thin out some bits -Park Tools TS8 truing stand in pretty good condition, a few marks from having a wheel clamped on but other than that it's fine
Looking for £45 collected from Clerkenwell near the Three Kings pub.
I can post at cost but I'd have to take it to the post office to find out how much - probably wouldn't be worth your while because it's so big and heavy.

Built this up to ride through winter but as we didn't really have a winter it has been stashed at the back of my office and been robbed for a few parts so it is now incomplete. (oversized stem, seat post and saddle needed to finish)
The frame is from a Ridgeback Cyclone, i think it's a 2005 model? size Large, full of scratches but no dents and is disk ready should that be your thing
Headset is a FSA one (sub 500 miles old)
Wheels are some eBay jobbies with Quando(?) disc hubs - they weigh a tonne but are running pretty true from what I remember. They have a 16T gusset sprocket and some red Velo Solo spacers, the tires are also eBay ones again but have done sub 500 miles.
Cranks are Bontrager with a 44t ring and a new isis bottom bracket (sub 500 miles)
Pedals are DMR V8s which are pretty battered
Brakes are Avid Digit 5s with Tektro levers
Chain is KMC (sub 500 miles)
Bars oversized On-One bars with a slight back sweep
Grips are Oury
Looking for £80 collected from Clerkenwell near the Crown pub.
Cheers

Got this a few months ago thinking I would get back into doing long rides on the weekend again but instead i've cycled to work on it and that's it. It's a bit of a waste from my point of view so here it is -
Size 56cm.
Frame: Trek Alpha SLR aluminium
Forks: Bontrager Carbon with alloy steerer
Derailleurs: Shimano 105 front and rear
Shifters: Shimano 105
Chainset: Shimano 105 with 53/39 tooth rings
Brakes: Shimano 105

Rear: Continental Gatorskin 23mm
Handlebars: Bontrager Select VR OS
Stem: Bontrager Select OS 100mm
Pedals: None
Saddle: Bontrager Race
Seatpost: Bontrager Carbon Has been overtightened so light mark on the back like the lacquer has split doesn't seem to make any difference to the structure but if you would prefer i have a alloy post i can swap it out forThe bike is a few years old now and has some storage marks and stone chips but it very presentable. Here is one picture from when i got it, i'll arrange some more this evening if people are interested.
Looking for £400 or might be tempted by another track bike but must be a 56 and not hipstered up. Bike can be collected from Ilford in Essex or EC1 Clerkenwell near the Three Kings Pub.

Saddle ripped before i put it on bike, bar tape ripped from being leant up against a wall at work, various scratches on drive side stay and around the bike, chain could probably do with being replaced. This is not a brand new bike, it has served me very well over the last couple of years and has been used through the snow, rain and has done 100+ miles a week most weeks. It has been serviced regularly and cleaned. I now have a new commuting bike so this isn't getting used and i need to thin out my hoard of bikes. However i would be tempted in a swap for a nice cyclocross frame in swap.
Bike can be collected from Clerkenwell EC1, near the Three kings pub.
Price £250 or i'll swap for a cyclocross frame or some nice road wheels
Cheers

I know this isn't the usual thing that gets sold on here but thought someone might be interested before they go on ebay!
For sale my ultegra front and rear hubs. The rear is for a 10 speed cassette.
They have some marks from where they have been previously built up but nothing you would see once they are built up again, they also have some scuffs on the side of the QR's from being lent up against the wall in work and in the garage they still roll freely.
Looking for £50 can be collected from EC1 london or meet up in the Central London area.

Just thought i would show you my efforts on a hand done respray on the fairly battered Carlton Corsair frame and fork i picked up for a fixed conversion a few months ago... It's nearly done, just need to clean the chrome and put it together - I realise that it is very white at the moment hopefully it will look better once it is a complete bike??

What does everyone think?

Tony - I think mine is one of the new batch with the (not so nice) matt black paint job. I agree they are a lovely frame, I like being able to run a bottle cage that isn't cabled tided to the frame and they have the benefit of being able to run the really wide tyres (something i'll probably never do but nice to have the option)
Fixedstar - I'll see if I can pick up a 111. All they had when I looked was a 110 or a 113 and i didn't think the 110 would have been enough.
