I am only giving my experience of using electrical tape, when it did shift due to getting wet when changing a puncture in the pissing rain leading me, further down the road getting a puncture from the spokes to change it again. Hence why I wouldn't recommend it. Of course if you are using no brakes or discs then the heating issue won't be a problem.

If you decide to buy these are getting really good reviews at the minute. http://dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.25149 Pretty cheap for the retina tearing performance they offer. I have a P7 Cree Led torch from the same site with a twofish adaptor for the bars, works well and if not riding you have a super powerful torch! The Hope/lumicycle/Alfine lights are good but if you are not going to use them all the time I am not sure they are worth the money.

Really, everyone needs a pair of these:
No idea if they are any good or not, but they make me laugh every time I see them...
A friend of mine got given a pair of these out on the trails by the owner of the company whilst in Whistler. As he rode off the dude was shouting "two in the pink, one in the stink!" Can you get them in the UK?

Slingshot bikes have been around for years. http://www.slingshotbikes.com/bikes/1 They don't instill me with confidence. Where's Scott when you need him, he has probably had one.

If I am searching for a specific bike in the bike porn is there anyway I can jump straight to the page the photo is on? If you are searching for say, a Vanilla bike in Bike Porn, which you know has been commented on in a thread, UTFS will only come up with the fact that it has been commented on and you still have to plough through 17000 odd replys to find the highlighted results. Am I missing an easier way of finding it?

I bought one of these from the Japanese Knife Company in Notting Hill.
Cost me close to £100 quid. I am no chef, just a keen amateur, but thought it was worth spending a bit of money on one decent knife. It is frighteningly sharp which I found out when I managed to slice my whole index finger-nail off clean. I now treat it with respect whenever I use it but it is worth every penny.

Mine sounds very similar to Markrjohnsons Its is over a year old now, done over 3000 miles on it, running it fixed and pretty stock apart from taking the rear brake off, putting 28c Gatorskins on and ditching the chicken levers.
Did find it creaking a bit but that was the chainring bolts working loose. It's a pleasure to ride and I look forward to using it. -
Who's done the tag below 'TOX07'?
He got banged up didn't he? Now he was a cunt, just tagged the whole of fuckin London changing the date numerically each year, always over other work and I never saw a piece just shit tags!

Just found this on souledoutstudios, bang up to date but I am not sure I would pay this much for just a tag

You can pick up SKF 6001 bearing off ebay cheap-ish, I have just serviced my Hope XC hubs which have the same ones. Chuck em in the freezer before rebuilding and the slide into the hub body easier.
