I have a Sun Solo, Made in Nottingham (around 1980's I think). I have been using it as my commuter bike but the rear wheel has had it.
Would make a nice conversion but it's slightly too large for me so I've got another bike and this one's going. The size is 61cm's C-C and 63cm's C-T, It has horizontal drops and a rear spacing of 110mm. It's quite dirty in the pictures but cleans up nicely in good condition with minimal rust.
I'm breaking it and so far I have got rid of the crank, stem and wheels so they aren't included.
For the rest of it I can post for £45 or you can collect for £30.
I'm based in Nottingham, Cheers.

http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/ put in the keyword search part no. 11137.
These hubs will work. I'm having the same issue. If you ring SJS and ask for Al, he was very helpful in discussing my options!
Or
www.londonfixiebike.com and search their shop converted shimano m756 hubs.
Good Luck...

Ok, So im converting an old road bike into a fixie for commuting to work so im not asking for anything special. However the rear frame spacing is 110mm so i have 3 options.
1) I am either looking for an old Track wheel set with 110mm hubs
2)A pair of 110mm Track hubs
or
3)A pair of 700c rims as i have found a track hub set which will work on SJSCycles.
This project is on a budget, hense i am still considering all the options.
Any advice would be much appreciated, i am new to the world of the fixed wheel.
Thanks...

Hi, try ebay, there are plenty of Dirty Harry and Goldfinger levers going for around the £15 mark at the mo. Some shimano levers, stx rc and similar are around £5 a pair.
I also have some old callipers from an 80's Raleigh esprite. Nothing special but full working order.
I'm up for selling and swapping. Will have to send in the post though as i'm in Nottingham.
I'm looking for a 110mm flip flop hub for swap.
Thanks
