Ok the deal is that we had a customer in the shop today that is looking to have her bike painted/powdercoated black, so is anyone else looking to have the same done and you could do them both together for cheap;)

I have to say Halfruads paint selection is quite good, and good quality too.

I had a qr on my bike for a while, you can get them unbelieveibly tight, ok the tension was lost after a few days but it did.

A good rattle can job can be quite good, primer, primer, paint, paint(one more if you like) and lacquer.
About 30 quid..
Or source a good wet sprayer eg. a panel beater or the like.

I dont think they would be silly enough to throw me in the deep end to start, I would say they are of the thinking that in the long run for me to go regularly I would need it.

The people I would be riding with said full sus is the only option. Suppose im just looking at it from both sides.
I will probably go for hardtail...But when I check the prices of the maridas on tuesday I might be tempted...

Well the closet trails to me are 3rock, unbuilt very rough hiking trails.
I have been told I wont get down them without full sus, weather that is true or not I dunno...

I have been told by most to go hardtail....But my thinking is I wont be able to afford to upgrade to full sus in the future..
