Anyone have a cheap fixed wheelset they want to sell me? I'll stick it on the market place as well, but thought I might as well ask here first. At least machined on the front, reasonably true, and bearings not too fucked (or serviceable if they are). Apart from that I'm not fussed, so long as it means I can stop riding my polo bike everywhere....
black aero section Omega Mach 1 rims laced to black unbranded hubs, rear is flip/flop, comes with cog (16t i think) and lockring, black spokes
ideal as first set or set on beater/pub bike, yours for £65, these are new and not been ridden before, message me if you're interested, manchester based so no postage -

In London early Nov and got a couple days to kill, anyone recommend good record shops where i can pick up so decent hardcore/punk/new-wave etc, basically decent non-mainstream stuff. aware of rough trade but their stock looks kinda limited and pretty pricey. somewhere like roadkill in manchester (if you knew it)
cheers

Getting woken up by a phone call on tuesday night from coursemates, asking if I was out to go clubbing with them. Replying in the negative, because we have an exam on Thursday. Being asked if you're joking. Discovering that the exam was actually on tuesday. Missing 1/6th of the marks on your course from copying the date down wrong in your calender.
Huge fucking fail.
i did a similar thing in the first year of my engineering degree, honest mistake, they let me take it under exam conditions in the head of school's office - sure they'll sort something out for you.....

650 pcm? bills inc?
PM ON THE WAY.me and you morgan ;) the bike party house
Al does it have any alotted parking ?
id guess thats not including bills?not including bills, unfortunately city centre parking is at a premium so no allotted space. there are single yellows directly outside and parking bay is free from 6pm to 8am and all day sunday as with most city centre spaces. did have a car here for a while and wasn't too much hassle tbh, just stuck it in the yard of a business round the corner on saturdays

my flat will be available june 8, quiet end of tib street, two bed, nice gaff, massive roof terrace at back and flat roof on top so cool for parties. no neighbours to bother with loud music etc
bike friendly too, i was storing 5 bikes in there without them being in the way
think it'll be round 650 mark.

Does anyone own one, or know anything on san marco frames? can't find any information on the mainframe. Was wearing Delta brakes and Chorus 8 speed Gruppo. Any info would be much appreciated.
my mate has a real nice san marco track frame, he was under the impression s. marco is the team not neccesarily the manufacturer....
-
-
i had a similar frame as my first fixed, although its single speed in this pic
did me proud till i could afford a better frame. cottered cranks and old bb were fine, although its getting replaced with shimano one. mines standard british threading so unless yours is markedly older i'd hazard a guess it would be too....
now bare steel frame after i nitromors it, gonna be a beater/polo bike.
go for it definitely

Yeah sweet session. Sprints were good.
fastest time was James with 18 secondsish??, which is about 30mph average around the track.
Didn't get my pink slip yet again. I thought you could get this from a taster session. You need this to go onto the track skills sessions, but to be honest I can't afford a new bike, and I can't afford to keep going and paying for a hire bike, so it's a moot point at the mo.....
Nes, PM me your a/c and s/c and I'll wire the £12.50 over to you.
aye, was good fun, don't reckon a pink slip was in the running today anyway dude, normally there's a few people in a group who are after one. think you've got to ride none stop for twenty minutes and ride in a pack swapping lead between each other. that's what i got told last time anyway.
nuts, saw this in the shop and was gonna ask how much they wanted for it but convinced myself it'd be way over my budget. my size as well. double nuts
