Incidentally, if you have the carrying capacity on your bike/luggage, the Topeak Road Morph G is a reasonable investment if you go out for longer distance rides. Saves a lot of trawling if you throw a puncture a long way from home.
Otherwise, I use a BETO. Cheap, crap, shoddy design, flimsy parts etc. Never let me down yet.

theres a guy on ebay, called dans cycle workshop.
Sells a lot of 3/32 freewheels, and a few useful bits all for very fair prices.
Thanks for that advice. I ordered one for less than the price of an 1/8 chain so feeling quite pleased with that. I'll soon be able to return from the pub in complete safety.

I feel as if I've arrived late to my own party now.
Nevermind, as a resident of the anus of England that is Peterborough I wouldn't have been able to remove said sprocket.
BRM, if it's still up for grabs after removal, send me a PM with a price incl. P&P.
Also, I have a 16t 1/8 for any reasonable offer.

Just in case you're worried about getting schooled by decrepit looking old men, Audax UK also run an award for the youngest rider to complete a 200k solo (i.e. on their own bike rather than on a tandem). In 1982 the award was won by an eight year old.
Who wants to be his bike was heavier than yours?

Just cite that your wheel was damaged in either/both of the collisions and that you intend to make a small claims court representation.
if you don't wish to subsequently be done for a fraudulent representation to a government agency then I reckon a claim could easily be substaniated. Afterall, you have witnesses.
Absolutely. Wouldn't imagine reccomending anything else for a pro. However for the hobbyist, having a high street chain that even understands push and pull is pretty amazing.
