Where in London is the start of the ride?

I would recomend just getting a BMX. They handle ramps, trails and tricks better than any MTB. If you really want to get something bigger go for something with 24inch wheels. like:

Cheers for the advice. I dropped the bike into BLB yesterday as they were actualy the cheapest I could find. They are doing it for this afternoon. I know there are a lot of BLB haters on this forum but they have always been fine with me. They were cheaper than Cavendish for rims and spokes.

I am getting some new rims (shiny hipster Velocity) this week and want to know the best (and the cheaper the better) place to get the wheels built. Can I use the old spokes, as this would save some cash. Cavendish do them for £25 a wheel + 60p a spoke. This seems quite expencive to me. When I used to get new BMX rims or hubs, if you were buying the parts from the shop then they would build the wheel for free. This dosent seem to be the case with road bikes and wheels.

I have been running a shadow chain on my BMX for about 2 years. I found them really strong untill you have to brake it. Even with the master pin it wasn't the same. Kept on falling to bits. I only got another one as I snapped every other chain I had in-between. They also demolish chain brakers.

When's and where's the next one?

Unfortunatly spelling isnt really my strong point. It isnt as bad a crime as the of locking of my bike (along with two others) at the Foundry and then reolising that I had given my keys to my GF eirlier that night. After serching London for them, a quick tube ride and an even quicker taxi ride, I made it back at about 12.30 to unlock the bikes. I am sure if one was to be tortured loud shorts would ease the pain. Although I am just saying that to cover my arse for having no idea what waterboarding was.
