The AX and EX are the same stem, just the EX groupset came before the AX
http://www.flickr.com/photos/stronglight/sets/72157604999952452/ One of my favourite flickr sets and full of info about them. They keep popping up on ebay, a 90mm and 100mm were just sold at the weekend for about £25 each so its worth keeping an eye out for them.
I'd love to get hold of some DA bars so I can get one piece closer to having complete DA on my Bob.

I thought it was they were setting up a team to compete in British races, with the aim of doing Continental races within 5 years.
Cycling News article makes no mention of the Tour besides that a Raleigh was riden to victory in 1980

Oh and the bike that co holds the record currently. More low flange loveliness at least on the front ;)
I thought for the UCI Record you had to use a steel bike, that is made of carbonfibre tubing. The rear wheel weighed 3.2kg. Talk about flywheel effect. Though I'm thinking the doping Ondřej Sosenka was doing probably helped him beat Boardman's record more than anything.

Actually cyclestore has the 7600 at £136
http://www.cyclestore.co.uk/productDetails.asp?productID=16644&categoryID=891Order it and you will get an email about how that is the incorrect price and that is less than trade price. They will then offer you them for £165 as a good will gesture.
I should know, I ordered a DA chainring and 165mm cranks from them two months ago at £136+50 for the chainring then two days later got an email telling me the pricing was all a big mistake. Then instantly updated the pricing.
(the ones you linked are the 170mm cranks)

Close the zips and then lock them in place.
