Erm, hard to call seeing as I don't know your fitness, but if you're doubting yourself already then it's probably not a good one to start with. Kent is not flat, and if you're not capable of climbing on a fixed wheel at the moment then you will be doing a lot of walking.
well I will be geared and have done 40 odd miles around kentish hills before, but this is why i asked, as i really don't want to hold anyone back...

My weekend full of 11 year olds just cleared up! Would very much like to replace it with this, but...
I will be geared
I am pretty darn slow
The muscle memory is still having issuesOn the plus side I am pretty determined and go a very fun shade of pink. Is anyone else slow too, or is this not a good one to start?

I have been rubbish at getting rid of the rest of this lot. Its all pretty much new (see above).
Who wants my:
Crank - £45
Brakes - £15 each or best offer
Seat and seatpost - tenner
Cog - £7In fact, best offer for all, and gratitude from my housemates, who don't like the 'garage look' in their living room.

the whole of my house is tall-ceilinged except my room unfortunately, so i think even a shortass like me would bump their head. and in answer to your wondering, i was thinking of hanging it on a wall above a chest of drawers, in order to still be able to access my clothes (its for my geared bike so wouldn't be used everyday, but i didn't want to leave it at the mercy of the elements)
I like hassan's, where did you get it?

can anyone recommend a good device for storing bikes on walls? I am soon to have more bikes than space, which is lovely but potentially uncomfortable.
also, hello! from a newbie. your forum has cheered me up lots in the absence of being able to ride. hope to come along to some things once i have less of a broken elbow.

I might look into buying some stabilisers, tipsy is called tipsy for a reason :S
Also, could we maybe have a bit of a distance between pubs one and two, to get a cheeky little ride in there before chaos descends?
