I´m very happy with my Dolan after a couple months of ownership. The track geometry is a bit too radical for commuting, a bit like commuting on a Porsche 911 gt2 I guess, hehe, what else can you ask for just 99 pounds!! Very happy. I plan no more upgrades, maybe just a more expensive lock, I don't wanna loose this baby.

has anyone drilled holes in the current Pre-Cursa for bottle cage M5 rivnuts? The diagonal tube seems like too sharp on the upper side, where the bottle cage holes have to be drilled, so it is like very very round edge for a rivnut, maybe. Although, the FXE seems to be just as sharp in the photoso and have threads for the cages. Can someone post a close up photo of a pre-cursa with installed rivnuts, or the rivnuts of the FXE? Thanks a lot!!

Not really your not really. It is definitely incomplete, but also definitely accurate. My frame measured exactly exactly the dimensions of the chart.
Still, you can't find the differences between the fxe and the precursa, which can be seen just with a photo, so before arguing against the data provided by such a huge expert like me, do your homeworks before sweetheart.

Hello there, I use Speedplay Frogs on my mtb since 1997, and Speedplay Zero on my road bike since 3 years. Best pedals I´ve ever used. The Frog cleats are expensive, and if you use them for lot of walking in the city and commuting, it might get expensive, as cleats are 40€, shimano cleats are just 10€ and they last much longer.
About the Zero, I got them because I could not deal with the regular one side entry of look and shimano road pedals, so I switched them after just one week.
I regularly carry KeepOnKovers, titanium spindles for the Zero pedals and spare bearings for the Zero, all in stock in my chop in Holland. If you guys need anything let me know, we ship same day, always... ;-D

yes, but you can compensate it with a seatpost with much setback, and getting a shorter TT size... In the end the numbers can be matched. Still, no point on getting a track frame with track geometry, if you really don't want it. Bigger issue would be toe overlap for most riders, which can be improved with a fork with bigger rack and a shorter crank arms, like 165mm...
I would personally prefer a single speed frame, with more of a road geometry, to use it on the street instead of velodrome, but nothing in the market that could beat the pre curse. Even the FXE from Dolan, I prefer to use a pre cursa for fast and short commutes of maximum 30-35km, more like 10km average. Riser carbon bar helps a lot for that too.

I´m 5,84' (178cm) and I ordered a 54 that seems to fit me like a glove, as it has the same dimensions I was looking for, very similar to a 54cm road frame, except the angles that are steeper just like in all track frames.
The current dolan geometry chart is very acurate. C dimension can vary +-3mm maximum I would say. E and B are perfect. I´ve read than in previous years models the chart was a mess, and it was all wrong, like if you ordered a 54, it measured like the 52 of the chart, or something like that...
I have no fork here yet, so I can not measure that for you.

Awesome build and great great photos!!! Thanks a lot for sharing!! I ordered my precursa couple hours ago. Mine will be 7,7Kg, size 54. 1700g wheels with Archetypes. I have the kimlins xr200 in my road bike. Dope rims, so light, but too weak and hard to build, I wouldn't use them on a fixed gear, although you are 15kg lighter than me, so you should have no problems.

I just ordered my PC a couple hours ago. Can't wait to get it. After 7 years riding very cheap steel frames from the 80's, I deserve an upgrade. Ordered the bare frame, so I can custom build it with chinese cheap carbon parts, and my current H plus son archetype wheelset. It will weight 7,7Kg. Will post photos when finished, although those chinese are very slow when shipping, but anyways...
